[Predictions] Naruto Manga 490 Discussion and 491 Predictions

possible people inside the box that would shake up Madara:
1) Hashirama- unlikely though, as Hiruzen evidently kicked his rear when they fought, making him less of a threat compared to other potentials.
2)Hiruzen- one of the strongest ninja ever, but Madara hasn't really had a lot to do with him so I doubt it'll be him in there
3)Orochimaru- possible, although I think even Kishimoto is getting sick with him coming back from the dead
4)Madara's brother- one of the more likely theories, as it would imply that Kabuto knows more of Madara's history than others know. I think as far as we can tell, the only ones who definately know about his past are Sasuke and Zetsu. Possibly Kabuto in this case.
5)Minato- Madara would know the capability of the fourth hokage and fear him after witnessing Minato defeat the 9-tails.
6) the Sage of 6 paths- definitely cause for concern in Madara's case, but if Kabuto had that sort of power available, surely he could take Sasuke by force?

If Tobi/Madara isn't who he says he is then I'm siding with the camp who thinks he is probably Obito however there is one other Uchiha who is supposed to be dead that we know is missing at least one eye as well, Shisui. Shisui was supposed to be a teleporter and Itachi's best friend it isn't too far of a leap to think Itachi might have only taken one eye to prove he was dead to Danzo but let him live. It wouldn't explain why he wanted to protect Sasuke from him unless he went off the deep end after the massacre. In any case I think it is as likely that Madara is Shisui, as Obito.

That said I'd like to think we have a bigger twist in store. Perhaps Itachi isn't dead and is in fact Madara. Tobi took his body and Itachi did kill way more Uchiha than Danzo had eyes in his arm it wouldn't be too hard for him to have some spares around to not only have replaced his own eyes with but enough to give Sasuke as well. Everything we have learned could have been planned from the beginning to lead us away from thinking Itachi was still alive and the mask is too much of a coincidence to not have a part to play.

If anything I think that Naruto will meet the 8 tails when Kisame decides to make his move during the Shinobi Alliance, Naruto will come and help, I think Kisame will die at the hand of Naruto and the 8 tails, then the 8 tails will teach him.

I completely agree, yet disagree (just a little) with this comment i agree that this most likely will be the way naruto and the hachibi will meet, but i also think kishi's going to ignore this completely obvious cliche way of their paths crossing.

I personally thought it would be Minato in the coffin, then after naruto masters all his kyuubi taming skills he'd have to fight him himself. thats what i hope

It's starting to be alot more obvious that madara is not the real madara and his secrets are being shown every new chapter but one thing that is so obvious is that the reason why kisame calls him mizukage is cuz he controlled the 4th mizukage when the beast was inside of him. And I bet That the 5th homage knows some part of the story and the 2 advisors know alot more and it will be revealed.



Naruto is gonna train but realize he can't do it then he's gonna meet the 8 tails during that meeting in 3 days he will ask to be trained by the 8 tails he will say no and then kisame will show up at a time when the 8 tails and naruto are both alone thinking he can capture both then they kill him or he gets away and bee realizes narutos talent and power and accepts to train him

Really, he looks a little different from the Sub Zero I know. I remember him wearing something slightly different. But allow me to correct you, Itachi is actually the best ninja to have ever walked the Earth...

Naruto has to be able to control the 9 tails. Like the showdown with Sauske, being able to control the 9 tails is one of the critical parts of the manga. It will answer lots of questions and show that there was a real purpose for the 4the 4th Hokage to put it inside of Naruto.

A lot of people have asked why doesn't Madara fight. I don't think he can right now. A few chapters back he mentioned that his body wasn't "fully healed" or something like that. I believe the corpse in the casket has something to do with that. He's only been able to use his Teleportation Jutsu and hasn't really fought anyone. I believe that's why he needs Sauske so badly.

Hashirama actually had all the other bijuu.. Meaning he had 8 Bijuu available to fight Madara and he could tame the Kyuubi as well.
We really don't know what happened in that fight..
Naruto most definetely needs the Kyuubi and he knows it or he wouldn't have said so.

well i actaully agree with u. there might be chance that tobi might be obito because doesnt he only have one eye? i know its a stupid point but really, think about it. the last time obito was seen was with his whole right side covered by the boulder. his left eye was given to kakashi. tobi doesnt show his left eye. but when he reveals him self to sasuke, remember the way his skin was when he showed part of his face? and then also remember when zetsu went to get tobi when sasuke was fighting naruto again a couple chapters back? it didnt show his right side very mcuh but it didnt look like his right side was damaged. also it hair looks the same as obito. i mean u never know. but i think u might be rite

Obito could have copied minatos Teleportation justu since he woke his sharigan got out from under the bolders and perfected it so no hand signals are needed now.kakashi has been copying justus for awhile and that can aslo explain kakashis MS coming in contact with Tobi and some point without realizing it and waking it.even kakashi doubts its madara so he has an idea but wont say it until he knows for sure.

May be Madara wasn't the strongest Uchiha he knew someone even stronger or may be his Sensei then he took his name and then he revealed himself and the person in the last coffin may be that strong Uchiha. And ya what on earth happened to Jugo and Sugetsu were they caught and don't tell me Yamato is still searching for Naruto and co.

Good post and I agree with your observations. Obito was a child when he died (there's no way he could've survived when all those rocks collapsed on him) so it would be impossible (and pretty dumb) for him to be Madara.

A lot is still unknown about Kabuto and his true intentions. He seems to be very good at spying on folks, but I still don't know how he knows as much as he does about Madara. Maybe he was working with Pain and that's how he knew Pain's resurrection jutsu?

Thanks man and who were u talking about learning Pain's resurrection jutsu is it Kabuto or Madara. In any case Pain was able to resurrect people because he had the Rinnegan and it cost him his life. So there's no way either Kabuto or Madara can use this tech unless one of them has the Rinnegan. By the way Madara was talking about collecting the Rinnegan I wonder what's he planning but one thing is for sure he ain't gonna use the Rinnegan to resurrect someone sacrificing his life.
