Eh, I'm not so much of a fan of his character, though I do agree that his character development would be amazing if he joined. Too bad we only got a couple of panels of his "backstory". I'm sure Oda will give us a proper flashback later on, so until then he's alright but there's much better potential SH's that I want to join.

Don't see it honestly. Think of the final showdown between the Straw Hat Crew and the Blackbeard Crew, so far the crew's numbers have been equal to lead up to a 1 on 1 fight between the SH Pirates and BB Pirates. What can Viola do in combat 1 on 1? Absolutely nothing. Plus, what would be her reason for going out to sea? Sanji? They just met, and frankly I don't see an actual romantic interest being on the ship with Sanji. She's finally going to be able to live in peace with her family as well once Doflamingo is defeated and peace is restored.

I think from Dressrosa, Viola makes the least sense as a Straw Hat candidate. And everyone introduced from Dressrosa really doesn't make any sense.

Funny thing is she's kinda interacted with every Strawhat except Nami, Brook and Chopper... Sanji has offered her to join, she never said no, she did say she planned on leaving the Island though

Looked it up because you gave an untranslated scan for some reason. She's useful for that alone pretty much, that's your entire reason of thinking she'll join? Aside from her being female maybe? She really has no reason to even leave Dressrosa, and having a love interest for Sanji on the ship isn't happening. Can't see her being useful in a 1 on 1 scenario against the Blackbeard Pirates EoS either. Her and Rebecca are really just going to stay with each other and King Riku and Kyros. Why would she leave after they've finally all reunited and can live in peace?

Edit: Well yeah, that's Sanji and he's kind of fallen head over heels for her so I'm not surprised he's asked her to join. I don't even remember another Straw Hat besides Luffy ever asking someone to join the crew before and having them join. I don't really think Sanji's invitation counts.

I literally just said there would be no love interest. Sanji would go after Nami and Robin as well as Viola, making her turn into a stabby little *****. It's funny. You clearly have no sense of humour if you can't imagine any possible running gags from this combination.

EoS!??! There's plenty of time to develop, she's clearly a skilled hand to hand combatant. She's been in a Pirate Crew for 10 years, of course she can fight. Nobody in the crew can do shit against any of the Blackbeard Pirates right now, we haven't even seen her fight properly, you have NO IDEA what she may or may not be capable of. You cannot dismiss a character before they've had a chance.

Why would you stay on the same Island you've lived your entire life when some amazing people give you the opportunity to travel the New World with them? She may have a goal that can only be achieved on the seas. She's already said she wants to leave the Island at some point. I can't find the scan but it's around when she's on horseback with Sanji and tells him about Nami's lightning strike.
