A girl told her kid at the store I work at, who was probably six years old and screaming bloody murder as well as running up and down isles into the elderly, that if he didn't stop he wouldn't get to go to grandma's. The kid kept running and screaming. I would have beaten him senseless. Although I guess that is how I was raised. And guess what. I don't run around screaming inside of stores. :3

To all the people saying, "Well, the kid might not respond well to physical discipline, so it shouldn't be done," listen up. The parents of the kids will know what they can and can't do to their kid(s) regarding discipline and how their kid(s) will react. They're the parents. It's their job. Child abuse arises because parents overstep their boundaries. A good spanking here or there is needed.

Your job was to make sure your kid wasn't shitty enough to throw tantrums in stores in the first place, but oh well.

I never said anything about the stores. lol Wut... A parent can't control his kid(s)'s every action. Don't be silly, now. And just because a kid throws a temper tantrum doesn't mean he's "shitty."

Oh man I totally read something that wasn't there. I think I let my train of thought from Penguin's post carry over into the one from yours.
