Some people only work and work and contribute alot to the world but they dont have time to do what a normal citizen would do, and their free time (most likely after work) they spend their time in some story, like this manga and dedicate to the manga, dream about the perfect world with it. Sound like crazy to you but at least they fill up their fantasy world with it (at night).

And i think you should be scared to piss on your pant if some people like that doesnt try to find any happiness. There are more kind like this....

If you enjoy and laugh when watching anime you can also be sad and cry.
But when anime/manga means he whole world to you you're not okay.
Look how far it brought that itachi fanboy who killed himself over itachis dead to later discover he gets revived
