Zoro in all scenarios, the only time where they were seen as equals was during Enies Lobby. Other than that, the gap is small, yes even now the gap is small.
They were not equal even at EL. The gap was significant b/w Sanji and Zoro as well as their respective opponents.
Nope. How was the gap significant?
You think they seems to be equal because their opponents looks equally strong but it was wrong. Kaku was slightly above Jabra as a hand to hand combat user but his main fighting style is swordsmanship so Kaku with swords > Kaku without swords slightly > Jabra.
Kaku has swordsmanship+ Hand to hand combat + DF+ His six skills where as Jabra has hand to hand combat + DF + His six skills. Even though he has more experience than Kaku, Jabra didn't display any extraordinary feats with his DF than Kaku so the powers they gain from their respective fruits are even and Kaku still has upper hand with his swordsmanship. All of this hints that he was significantly above Jabra. Kaku can beat Jabra with same dif as Sanji.
You can observe the difference during their fights , Sanji was easily beating him where as Kaku gave hard time to Zoro until the very end.

Kaku might be a sword user but Jyabura was a martial artist. And if sword techniques aren't measured in doroki then so are Jyabura's techniques.
For instance Jyabura was the only one who could use tekkai while moving, Kaku had to sit down and Zoro could just unleash on him without putting a scratch on him. Sanji was able to break tekkai a few times before DJ.
You're looking too much into it, Doroki was just a quick powerlevel Oda made to show how close the gap was between all the crew members and especially Luffy, Zoro and Sanji.
Zoan fruits enhance all physical traits like speed and strength, so that's more than enough for a hand to hand fighter, besides he had some tricks that were wolf related, it's just you who can't remember them because otherwise your argument doesnt'make any sense
you can make up reasons all you want but there points were only 20 off and oda wrote that so u can try to say ur reasoning is right but it is not.
So many people underestimate Sanji and forget Diable Jambe can melt swords
How did you come to that conclusion?
You seem to have forgotten that Zoro can put CoA on his swords.
Sanji can use CoA as well? Read SBS 71, Oda confirmed it. Luffy also confirmed it when talking to Law about who could fight Caesar
Why does it matter if he has CoA? CoA is fire resistant so Sanji can't melt Zoro's swords.
No. It's not. Especially if Haki counteracts eachother on an equal level. It would mean that they neutralised eachothers Haki. It's like removing it from the picture, but if one didn't use it they'd be ****ed, know what I'm saying?
Yea it is, that's why Luffy can use Red Hawk. We all know Zoro has better CoA than Sanji so their CoA won't cancel out.
I said it was resistant, not immune. That's why Ace was a big shot... Because his powers were useless?
