J-man was not interested in Naruto

J-man and Minato had a good friendship and was the first guy Kushina asked if Naruto was a good name for her baby.He cared about Naruto's parents.

Well then,in part 1 he wasn't that interested in Naruto he didn't even bother searching for him after his parents died.And when Naruto randomly finds him J-man completely ignores him for a while then he decides to help him but still annoyed by Naruto's presence.

For sure he had more interest in Orochimaru than Naruto.

This is obvious. Even the initial reason why he looked up to Akatsuki is that Orochimaru was once their member. J-Man wanted to keep tabs on Orochimaru, Naruto would've get in his way. He had more important things to do than babysitting.

Naruto would've been a fodder if not for J-Man. He taught him summoning which led to SM, he taught him Rasengan which is his main ninjutsu. He even saved his life from Kisame/Itachi and Pein. If not for the information he brought via Fukasaku, Naruto wouldn't stand a chance let alone even with the info he needed Kyuubi's interference.

You can't just say hi to your godson and leave for your duties next day. Either settle for good or not at all, giving false hopes to a child is more cruel. And lets not forget about trying to keep Naruto's ID as Minato's son a secret.

That was Hiruzen's decision. I think it was right thing to hide his fathers ID but letting people know about Kyuubi was a mistake. He should've lied that Kyuubi is died or something and kept that a secret as well.
