Sigh.I will explain.When I know I am capable of taking someone out and someone saves me I am not going to be down in the dumps about it.
Problem was she knew she was saved from being fodderised and hence lost confidence that the one she was supposed to be protecting saved her.As a result she got depressed and Naruto cheered her up.If she was readying herself to handle them there was no need to be sad about it
Oh please That tired argument is spammed so many times.They are fodders who were being taken out with very least effort.Any above average could decently counter em easily.Not to mention she is in a battlefield and hence she needs to be ready for surprises.
Also Neji collapsed because he overused his Byakugan and that was at night IIRC

She was depressed not because she was saved per say, but because it was Naruto specifically that saved her. It has nothing to do with whether or not she was capable of taking them out. It has to do with who did the saving.
They're fodders and yet they managed to take out half the alliances forces and nearly do the same to Sakura and Neji. Oh wait, that was because they were using disguises to pretend being allies. Oops. Sheer number is also on their side.
That's true, but she was already fighting another opponent when she was ambushed, and you make it sound like it's some easy task to distinguish between the clones and real people, especially when they jump out at you. Also, in case you can't tell, she was actually getting ready to fight them until Naruto jumped in.
The night before, genius. And Hinata was using her Byakugan as well. My point is, they were tired as hell at that point.
And really, with this line of thinking, you're trying to argue that 3 zetsu clones are stronger than a Juubi clone.

Thats not the point.If she was about to KO them,she wouldnt have been sad about it.Simple.You simply arent getting there is a reason she got to be saved and the reason she got saved is because she could not take the combo attack and being Naruto's wife,plot needs to protect her hence Naruto arrives in time.If she could handle em Kishi would show her being strong and take em all out as it adds to her character points about being a strong character
Why you bring Sakura in into a Hinata specific debate?.Sakura and Shizune were in the medical tent with guards around.The 2 clones fed them a sob story and them bein surprised about that onslaught is justified because they were away from the action and didnt expect the enemy to direct infilitrate a medical camp that way
Hinata was right in the middle of the action and anything can happen there moreso she being a sensory type and hence its not justified that she was surprised.And I am not talking about the fodder alliance ninjas who were killed.They were even more fodder than the Zetsus.Hinata is a average KKG user.Her case is different.
She knew the clones were attacking the alliance therefore she should be ready for anything.And even if they do try to jump at her,its not that difficult to use Air Palm or whatever the Hyuuga tech is (You know it better than me) as they dont need much to take out
Hinata must have used Byakugan less than Neji and Neji was usin more chakra intensive techniques than
Hinata and taking out more Zetsus than her
Sakura already took out a field of em juubi clones and yet needed to be saved.I am sure had Hinata also tried to take on more on she would still need to be saved.How is juubi clones relevant to what I am saying?Lol In any case she would still need to be saved Lol which is basically my point that she is fodder
