He's done that before. I said so in the OP... That's clearly not G4, I believe it's what Luffy modeled G4 on but not G4

Why r u guys squabling over Luffy and shockwaves/hasshoken i mean there r even who wld u like to get hasshoken Sanji, Luffy or Chopper threads so anyone might have come up with similar stuff posted it and other pple read parts of other theories and regujitated it all in their own theory.

That said that idea is ok and I can see it work but anyways what we know is 4 will have not the openings of 3 but have the strenght that is lacking in 2 so basically a bit bulked up Luffy is to b expected. Didnt really like that explosion step idea of yours though if its done hope the effect is kinda like bleach's sonido but also leaving those puffy smoke circles(even with the punches).

I hold on to gomu gomu no grenade as my idea so when it comes(though maybe not in 2 as my intial prediction) no squabling OK!

This is a pretty good theory, but I doubt we will see the use of fire or lightning with his attacks as they are part of Gear 2 and 3.

That's what I was saying... but it's not impossible either as the creation of combustion requires processes from both previous gears, I'd just rather he didn't have an elemental aura for this one

What's the "Gomu Gomu Grenade" idea? I'm intrigued

Well grenede is a theoretical attack luffy might use if he utilized hasshoken esque shockwave creation which in my initial thots wld b possible with G2.

If Luffy cld create a shockeave fist, in g2 that same fist wld sp fast that if he hit u the destructive effects of the shockwave wld seem to have a delayed effect starting after he wld have already retracted his arm so to a layman/bystander they wld see him initiate the attack but bcoz of tge speed woth see the arm strecth and connect with the target but rather it wld seem as though Luffy threw something and thats what causes the destruction. Now with the probability of a g4 that is supppsed to curb the disadvantages of 2 n 3 while partially retaining the advantages of each im hopeful that an attack like this or similar will b used.

As for shockwaves I do hope Luffy gets them coz all most all big dogs in op hurl them. Giving more thot to that combustion idea of yoz i think i cld fan over something like that.

He could combine gear2+3 for the jet shell move during his battle against Asgard Moriah. Would really surprise me if he didn't expand on this. It's also possible that the form will be similar to Nightmare Luffy

I hope not. I would really hate it if his appearence would turn into that of a bulky monster against every high opponent from now on
One of the awesome things about op is the size most villains have, if Luffy would transform in some ugly half giant on steroids it would take away the intimidating feeling of those typical "David vs Goliath" fights

I hope he remains the same as well, a slight increase in muscle mass isn't a problem but i don't want Luffy to go 9ft tall like Doffy. The sense of being the underdog makes for a good story

To be fair though, the major villains of most arcs weren't super tall: Morgan was about 7ft tall, same for Krieg. Klahadore, Crocodile, Enel, Lucci were all normal sized until Croc had a three foot growthspurt in Impel Down
