Not really. There are rappers who do it just to make money and be famous. Tyler does it because he enjoys it. The dude doesn't care about going platinum or any of that shit, he just has fun, then sells it. That's success because he doesn't need to compromise himself.

Success is doing what you have set out to do. And Tyler has done that. Success in the music industry isn't any one thing, and it's entirely specific to the person in question. Tyler not doing what Jay-Z or Drake or Lil Wayne have done doesn't matter because Tyler has done what Tyler has wanted to do. And that's success.
