Friends that get engagement/marriage and pregnancies young

I have friends who think something is wrong with me because I don't celebrate when the get engaged or married young and have kids young. Like we are all around the age of 18-21 and most of them are engaged, married, or had a baby( they told me it wasn't a mistake because they were not thinking about using protection or they forgot...reeeaaal mature). I even had to stop my boyfriend from calling me his fiancee because I don't want to be engaged now. I'm focus on my education. Do you have friend that are engaged/married and or have kids at a young age?

Nope. I've got an older brother who's 21 and just had a kid like 2 months ago. I've got a friend and his girlfriend that are my age (18-19) and are probably going to marry each other in a couple years or so, but that's about as serious as it is with any of my friends.

They will regret it in a few years, watch. They're giving themselves no time for post secondary education and also making it hard to enjoy their adulthood while they are young. I think 28 would be a good age to get married though.

One of them said she though she was going to go to college but her kid is better so I asked her how is she going to support that kid with no higher education or a job and I got attacked. People was assuming I was on some high ass horse.I told them that I was responsible.

Some people want to have a family at a young age. And others want to build a financially stable life first then have a family. It's nothing wrong with it, just different preferences. If you don't want to get engage or have a family you shouldn't be forced into it because of your friends.

I have friends and many acquaintances who are already married and either have a child or are expecting one. They are young people and I think it's a little too early to get married at such a young age. But to each their own, some are happier with a partner in their life earlier on than what others would feel as an uncomfortable one.

I might get married later in life. I just can't now.It's cringe worthy to me. A lot of people around me wants me to get married and I'm Thinking "STFU I don't want to!"It's stressful when people do this to me. and as for a kid. Hell no.I'm super duper over protective to prevent that. I'm on birth control and my boyfriend use contraceptives.I remember I though the contraceptives failed so I got a Plan B and a pregnancy test but it's all good. No kiddos for me.

Screw them people. It's not selfish.It's selfish to bring a kid in the world and not care for them.What if you have a busy life that doesn't allow you to deal with kids? That's not selfish.
