I think there's a chance of him returning near the end of this year. Just read other manga series till his return I recommend Toriko

April 22nd of last year was when he announced he'll come back.

Togashi had already proved to us that he's a talented artist, I don't think he has to "improve" on his art. It just needs consistency. As for the research reason, that's very plausible seeing how many sub-plots he's handling at once. Not only that but plan ahead and I'm sure he has an idea of how to end off HxH.

I don't think he's had a full recovery yet, although someone told me that he did in another thread. I'll just wait till he gives me a link showing that he did. >.> I'm certain that we will get at least a chapter this year because we always get at least one-two chapters a years xD

Hunter x Hunter is greatness i like the plot he cares for all characters even side characters to be honest some side characters have amazing development Welfin for example

So i just hope it returns and he starts to make it regular

I re-watched the anime series again.
Its so awesome.
As long as he doesn't bust some bull like with yu yu hakusho then he can do whatever the hell he wants as long as he delivers the goods.
