5/5 for a filler.

This is the filler that I've been waiting for.

The episode was pretty good, compared to the past few episodes that were cringeworthy to watch. Fighting scenes were alright, and for once, I felt they (SP) didn't add flashbacks to fill the episode up as the flashbacks corresponded well to the current situations.

There was some nice character development for Ino. Too bad it isn't canon - it would have added more depth to her character.

Next episode looks boring. We already saw Sakura, Ino and Choji throughout this whole episode and I do not want to see them again in the next episode, especially when there are other characters to explore on. At least, we get to see Taka next week, which promises some excitement and entertainment.

I liked the Saku Ino relationship.
But the fight was too long, it realy shoulve been ground punch GG.

I feel like they're trying to buy time for yet another opening >_> so we'll be getting tons of filler added into the canon moments too so just a prediction SPOILER WARNING

kakashi and obito vs madara is longer
might dais fight with the seven swordsmen is increased to a full length battle with flash backs and all
madara vs guy is made longer (would like that actually) probably lasting 3-4 episodes before we get to naruto and sasuke with the sage
hagoromos story is made into a full length flash back we'll get like an episode with indra and ashura battling
maybe a filler with kaguya
naruto and sasuke vs madara will be longer lasting 3 episodes (that fight should barely last 1 it barely lasted one chapter before madara ran away for his other eye)
madara and obito will go flash back mode in the kamui world
madara vs naruto and sasuke round 2 lasts longer before IT is activated and lasts even longer after that before BZ steps in (giving us a real fight I hope)
then kaguya will go full flash back mode on us we'll get a few filler episodes with her fighting her sons
her fight will be longer
new opening we finally get to naruto vs sasuke (also muuuuuuch longer not a prediction a hope)
filler of chapter 699 where we get more then just sasuke talking and a summary of funerals they'll go into detail about everything including kakashi becoming hokage


maybe some fillers about between 699 and the last then between the last and chapter 700 then chapter 700 will be longer being an episode its self

then some fillers between 700 and the boruto series
then filler in the boruto series (even though when they get to it it'll be over too)
then once the canons done are you ready? welcome to the grand tour NARUTO GT

I would love a kaguya filler along with something on Hago's sons. Maybe even get some insight into his brother as well.

3/5. It's better than last episode, I'll give it that. I see a pattern with the episodes in the desert.
1st episode the 2 teams meet, flashbacks, they either fight, and the leaf team is in trouble, or there's a desert hazard. 2nd episode, they fight, leaf team wins.
I wonder who is this doll user. He never appeared in the exam until now...Maybe part of the Gaara assassination? Also, why is Sasuke in the preview?

I give it a 3/5 overall

-Art and Animation are terrible and the fights impact are too weak =/

+Better than the last episode

+ Ino gets her moment to shine. She was too epic with her sensory capabilities making her one of the badass Kunoichi

+ Good flashback stuff that didnt cover in the manga

+ I love the Sand Shinobi techniques and abilities. One is a chakra sycther, another is a sand hammer via Sand shield, and lastly Sand Beast via Invisibility.

It look like using the puppet doll do have some effect on Sakura, that is why she could the the main character for next episode.
It will show how, in Part 2, where Sakura could defeat Sasori. Interesting ...
