While the dog should have been taken farther away from the man - it's difficult to tell exactly what is going on from the short video.

I suspect that the majority of the injuries were inflicted when the dog was first released and the later snips/nips were not life threatening (though inappropriate).

Though, again, police are not allowed to confiscate cellular phones. It would be appropriate to record the person as being a witness to the events (which should be done) - but to try and say that the phone needs to be confiscated is out of line.

But, let's be sure to throw critical thought and analysis out the window and insist the police are all out to kill us.
