I think that unlike the uchiha who apparently only married other uchiha to preserve their bloodline senju did the other way around i mean they mixed way too much with other people who had nothing to do with the senju bloodline therefore making the senju genes weaken until they senju linage became irrelevant and they lost the endurance and great chakra reserves.

Oh they are around. They are most definitely around. In my opinion anyhow. I believe they possibly made a law where like no more than two members of a certain one clan can be a hokage within a 100 year span or something. Lol you know, like a hidden leaf law/ in their constitution or agreement with the daimyo feudal lords. Because when you let lineage after lineage rule, I think there may be a problem within political agenda and at least some corruption within family heads.

If only it actually applied to Uchiha. Uchiha lived on for another generation or two but the leader let himself and his clan get eradicated by his son and Obito. Senjus died off disgracefully by outside clans after their leaders passed away.

Hashirama had Mokuton which made him an enigma in the clan so he was hardly representing the clans power.
Tsunade who got her Yin seal from her Uzumaki grandmother.
Nawaki, Butsuma, Kawarama etc flashback material.

In my most humble opinion, Tobirama was the most Senju among others that mattered to the plot. All of his skills were his own, they all could be learned by other clan members.
The clan with a thousand skills, definetly Tobirama is the one who comes up to mind.

Other than this, they weren't interesting. Uchiha had the sharingan which plot revolved around, thats why they were more interesting and why Kishimoto give us more Uchiha than Senju.

Senju clan was always made of people who had different abilities, they were made into "THE SENJU CLAN" (the one from hashirama's time) for Hashirama's goal of uniting people.. and when the village was founded they all went back to w.e they were doing, and probably married off into other clans.


notice how "Hatake", "namikaze" aren't clans.
