I don't care what VAs have to say about pairings tbh. Only Kishimoto.
That totally contradicts what Kishi said in The Last booklet, where he stated he was considering Naruto and Sakura. Doesn't seem like anything was concrete to me until midway through part 2, but what do I know. These interviews have contradicted each other to the point of being nonsensical.Because that part is their opinion. The first part is what Kishi told them in fact
And they didnt say Sasuke doesnt have a place in it.They said he does not have "power" in it.I think they meant Sakura's tsundere behaviour like with Naruto but imagining that same behaviour with Sasuke seems weird somehow

Sounds like he has been changing his mind for a while. We should probably close this thread down and keep it in the pairing sticky seeing how the rest of the information will be dealing with pairings, and the important stuff will come from the Boruto movie sideIn one interview he said he was on the fence about going with Naruto and Sakura because Sakura had also realised like Hinata,Naruto's ninja way but he stuck with Hinata because he felt bad for Hinata who had been there from the very start for Naruto
There's a brotherly love between the pair, I don't deny that.
It's difficult for SS to have development when they don't live in the same village but I wouldn't say they didn't have any development in part 2. We found out that Sakura's feelings had evolved for Sasuke from a girlish crush to full-blown love. Sasuke's goes through the motions as far as his feelings for Sakura are concerned, from the start of part 2 where he seems confused as to how to react to Sakura approaching to attack him, to the middle of part 2 where he is hell-bent on severing his ties with her by killing her, to the end of part 2 where he pokes her on the forehead lovingly and promises to see her again.
At least Sakura and Sasuke made physical contact with each other (hugs, forehead pokes) throughout the manga that suggests there is mutual affection between them. That's way more than the one-sided NaruHina got and way more than we should really expect in a shonen manga where romance is not of the upmost priority. All things considered, I'd say SS has been developed quite well.
I guess a 12 years old girl yearned to run away from home with a boy is somehow better (i felt sorry for her parent)
And to compare a shy girl who sacredfired herself for her loves (a mature girl at the time).
