We don't know the context of what was asked and what exactly he answered.

Let's be honest, Sasuke are getting random treatment here and there since the end of the series, so I doubt it.

And yes, it is perfectly possible the Sasuke / Boruto training thing happen without Sarada be left out. In fact something like this could further strengthen the relationship between Sasuke and Sarada too.

But again, I doubt it.
