How does itachi escape deep forest emergence? Or the wood dragon? Or better yet the great deity gates. Amaterasu will simply just take forever to burn through the wood. Hashirama will keep a distance and more then likely they won't even make eye contact. Itachi will be drained of chakra by the time hashirama is even warmed up.

Hashirama fought uchihas, never been caught in genjutsu, unless you can show a manga scan, itachi can't get him in genjutsu. Plus itachi can't escape hashiramas genjutsu. Lol itachi will be rendered unable to see. Plus if amaterasu hit hashi, he can separate it from his body with wood jutsu, as he can make wood come from his body, lol wood clone solos itachi.
