Who is the most resilient character In NV?

(I mean non physical resilience*)

The one character who has endured so much emotional distress and has always maintained emotional integrity. [I.e has been able to endure without being broken]?

*Bear this definition in mind when answering.

Personally would vote Kakashi - he has been through constant pain and has managed to stay relatively 'normal'.

Godsuke ofc. No one can remain sane. It's for hipsters and some day the emotions will overflow.
Btw, what has Kabuto to do there? ***** planted more flesh and cells into him than a starving cannibal could eat in 2 years.

Sasuke was fked up by the massacre. But I can see why you think he is resilient. Just from the fact that he managed to stay sane for the most part after that experience.

Itachi is more resilient because he was able to keep his emotions in tact

Kakashi Is the most mentally strong character there is. He of all people had all the right and the reasons to turn to the dark side more than anyone else. But no, he still believed in the will of fire and followed the right path. He is the definition of a ninja, he endured more than anyone.

That's why I don't rate Obito, gets friend zoned and wants to destroy the world. He didn't suffer nearly as much as Kakashi.

I completely agree. His dad was a respectable man who loved the village just because he abandoned one mission he became ostracised and pushed to suicide.

I can't believe kakashi went on to become hokage for the leaf after what they did to his dad.

And Obito has the emotional resilience of a gold fish:rolleyes:

Sakura, emotionless for her own parents while being very upset about her not so boy friend. May be she endured alot more than sasuke' massacre, naruto hatred, kakashi past...

I quite agree. Losing it to Sasuke can't have been easy. What trauma. Never mind losing parents to a massacre. That's child's play

How they treated his dad is enough reason for Kakashi to be filled with hatred. He should have despised the leaf and become a missing nin. How he was able to tolerate being a ninja in the very same village that shunned his father is a mystery to me. It's especially sad because Sakumo was kakashis idol. Kakashi must have been like 10 years old, to see his father dead on the floor in their house, taking his own life. That's too cruel.

True. Add the whole Obito, Rin, Minato and every other comrade he ever had aside from gai to the mix.

Definitely the most emotionally stable character

I'd say Itachi. A lot of other characters went through hell, but he seems to have handled the emotional stress better than most.

Kakashi is a candidate, sure, but while his childhood was definitely traumatizing, I don't feel that it compares to Itachi's. He was pretty much forced to slaughter his entire clan and then went on to join the Akatsuki, isolating himself while being surrounded by criminals, and still never lost sight of his true goals.

If he has guts to slaughter his entire clan includes his very own blood parent then i dont see he felt any sorry for them.

He had no choice but to do it, if he hadn't, the coup would have taken place and not only would the Uchiha have been exterminated, the rest of the shinobi in the village would have suffered great losses as well, leaving the village vulnerable to an attack from other villages. Out of two horrible scenarios he picked the one with less bloodshed and he knew it, and even so, he still broke down in tears when he had to take out his parents.
