No, what matters is how you win fight, you can still defeat someone while being weaker.

Except Itachi also got two NFL weapons that if we taken their hype literally can make Itachi very powerful. But if those weapon hype is proven false Rinnegan Sasuke would neg diff Itachi.

If it were upto me, I would ended it just as Sasuke got MS, say clearly that he has surpassed itachi.

But no kishi didn't do that he kept finding ways to say sasuke is inferior in this or that, and had itachi babysit him when he returned.

He just inferior to Itachi in believe or thinking not fighting. Plus he still young and need to process all thing that happen at/around him especially when he still a kid, his mind is unstable. Itachi the one did all that to Sasuke.

He should be the one formulating strategies against kabuto.

I will not believe that Sasuke can lead that fight, plus he just only recover from eye transfer and not fighting for period of time.

And also that fight is not Sasuke fight but Itachi fight because he have Izanami. Itachi knows better.

His plan is to used that technique because of that he must lead that battle.

Well...if you do not take the bait you can come up with a reasonable response which does not attack the character OP targeted to begin with.

I know OP and i know he rustles a lot. It does not help to take the bait when the fans bring power level while the OP clearly states that he is well aware of powers and rather questions what author says.

I could make the exact same title and same thread and people would not be saying "bait" atleast in this rate. I know some people can be hassle but profiling members according to what they like or not does not bring people anywhere. Who said it's expected of him to come out and say that? It's expected that he doesn't consistently point out areas where Sasuke is inferior to Itachi.

Not sure what Itachi failing when it comes to the whole massacre business has to do with this. The point is, Kishimoto tries his hardest to show where Itachi triumphs over Sasuke, instead of showing us nothing, or showing us that Sasuke has finally surpassed his older brother, even though it's obvious to the reader that he has.

How does it not? Sasuke and Itachi weren't fighting towards the same goal like Naruto and the hokages were. That's why he was later compared to Madara and Sasuke because Sasuke was heading towards the same fate as him. Even still Itachi was a morally upstanding person and that's who he became after realizing the mistakes he made. Kishi didn't want to portray Sasuke as someone who surpassed his brother when Sasuke still wanted to kill others to get his way when Itachi was the opposite.
