Actually, one moment of pain can affect you in the long run. If Lucci hadn't been hindered in that moment, he would have killed Luffy.

Hate Trebol so much. Seems like he was a pretty pointless character just there to annoy the readers, but that's about to change with more depth into his connection with the Tontatas and why Haki wouldn't work on him.

The fight was good but for some reason it wasn't clicking with me. Maybe because there weren't enough large panels? Not sure. It was far from a bad chapter. Wondering how Luffy suddenly got this sudden speed/power up though.

it does not mean he is faster.
If 2 boxer's have a fight and boxer A hits boxer B first and 5 times in a row it automatically means boxer A is faster and it will be impossible for boxer B to hit him back eventually? Or even win the match for that matter
This is how fight's go , punches are exchanged between both party's..sometimes one gets hit, the other time not

Yea. Doffy can dodge when Luffy has some distance but latest chapter we clearly saw Luffy could keep his own in CQC , momentarily even overwhelming him with his monstrous strength + haki
Though Doffy still holds advantage when he starts combining haki and his df (like latest chapter) when he send Luffy flying but physically Luffy is defenitely superior as was clearly shown

Prediction on how Law will survive the explosion:

Luffy will use his gomu gomu no fuusen with arnament haki to defend from Trebol's explosion. So basically Trebol's sacrifice will be for naught.

I found the the flaw in that logic see that big bad ass guy there he's Whitebeard. Death couldn't bring this guy to his knees so clearly he is an outlier and must be discounted.
