Its been a total of 18 years since the end of the war. We start out at the academy.
Shino: And now for your graduation exam you must preform the clone jutsu. First up sarada uchiha.
Sarada walks up and preforms the jutsu perfectly.
Shino: Good next Boturo Uzumaki.
Boruto walks up but doesn't do the jutsu.
Shino: Boruto why aren't you performing the jutsu?
Bolt: I'm not doing it.
Shino: don't you want to graduate?
Bolt: I will but not with the jutsu my father used to pass! Is there anything else I can do to graduate?
Shino: Well Lee did pass somehow without doing the jutsu, I'll check into it but if there isn't I have no choice but to fail you.
Sarada stared at Bolt wondering why he was so adamant about not doing that jutsu. The rest of the class passed and everyone went home with their parents. Only Bolt and sarada remained waiting for their parents. Hinata showed up with himawari.
Hinata: let's go bolt.
Bolt: wheres dad?
Hinata: He's still busy with work, hokage comes with alot of res...
Bolt dashed away running into the forest Knohamaru arrives.
Konohamaru: He ran off again?
Hinata: I don't know what to do with that child
Konohamaru: I'll talk some sense into him you go find Naruto and tell him what happened.
Hinata: Konohamaru, Naruto told me you used to be like Bolt, since you were the thirds grandson, please be sympathetic with bolt he's a good kid.
konohamaru: Yeah I got it.
Konohamaru goes after bolt. Bolt is sitting against a tree looking at the village from a distance.
Bolt: I hate the hokage.
Konohamaru: Is it because the postion has stolen your dad?
Bolt: konohamaru sensei....
Konohamaru: I get why you're so mad bolt, your dad is awesome even I admired him when I was a kid he thought me all kinds of jutsu.
Bolt: Like what anything cool?
Konohamaru flashs back to learning the sexy jutsu and laughs
Konohamaru: yeah, anyway Bolt you have to realize that Naruto can't be just your father he's everyones now the whole village is his family and he'd die for the village.
Bolt: Thats stupid, I'm his son not anyone else in the village he should be spending time with me
Konohamaru: In time you'll come to respect your father for his job when you understand what it means to be hokage, I did with my grandfather after he passed.
Bolt: Who's your grandfather?
Konohamaru: The 3rd hokage, thats something we have in common bolt we're both grandsons of a hokage.
Bolt: Yeah.
Konohamaru: Anyway Bolt when you get over your feelings come back to the village, Naruto is worried sick about you we all are.
Konohamaru leaves Bolt with that thought.
Bolt: I won't be like him though.
Bolt returned to the village Hinata hugged him. Naruto walked up behind him patting him on the back.
Naruto: Bolt Shino says he has another way for you to pass, you can go see him at the academy.
Bolt leaves and arrives at the academy.
Shino: The only other method of graduation Bolt is to fight someone in your peers who did graduate and beat them. I have found someone willing to fight you.
Bolt: Really who?
Shino moves to show Sarada standing behind him.
Bolt: Who are you?
Sarada: I'm Uchiha Sarada don't forget, I already know about you though bolt. (I'll confirm it here with this fight, we certainly are similar when it comes to fathers, but skill I'll outshine him with the skills of the Uchiha)
Bolt: Thats right Remember that Name, Uzumaki Boruto!
Bolt and Sarada make the sign of battle Naruto and sasuke are out in the distance watching.
Naruto: Its their time now, their story eh sasuke?
Sasuke: it seems so, but which one is stronger? I know sarada is going to win, you can't beat the uchiha.
Naruto: You wanna say that again, Bolt's gonna destroy your daugh...
They look over to find Bolt is already on the ground.
Sarada: Disappointing, I expected more from the son of the hokage.
Bolt: don't define me by my Dad.
Sarada: Loser, stay down.
Bolt: Say that again I dare you!
Bolt charges her Sarada side steps him grabbing his arm and twisting it behind his back and forcing him to the ground.
Sarada: Give up.
Bolt: Never four eyes.
Sarada: Shannaro!
Sarada lifts bolt up by his arm and punches him in the stomach he goes flying into shino who stops him with his bugs. Bolt quickly gets up again.
Bolt: I suppose we do have something in common after all dad.
Sarada:?
Bolt: I won't give up.
Sarada: (Why is he still standing? Why does he still stand?)
Bolt charges sarada again throwing 3 shuriken at her she takes out a kunai blocking each one she throws her kunai at bolt it grazes his face making a cut he tries to punch sarada she catchs his fist.
Sarada: We're similar you and I.
Bolt: How so?
Sarada: We strive to impress our dads, hoping to gain some love from them. You do pranks I trained and got strong.
Bolt: Yeah I guess so.
Sarada: But the main difference is you're a loser.
Bolt: Its not over yet. I'm just getting started!

Well I ahd no idea what Bolt could have for jutsu and I'm hoping he's not Naruto clone tell me what you thought.
