why do people like the new generation?

Taka and Orochimaru+Kabuto mystery is the only interesting thing. The kids are weird looking and it looks like they will all be fodder.

Even though I wouldn't be so harsh, I generally agree.

Most of us aren't interested because, like them or dislike them, we've invested a lot of time into the actual Naruto characters and now it suddenly seems like everything is beginning anew, only the children don't really look good and we pretty much know what to expect from the series in general, so all the excitement is gone, too. I'm honestly not surprised at all the new generation isn't liked.
