What happened to Boruto's old Sign?

The new sketches are out and Sarada solo'd every other Uchiha, that's a fact, meanwhile we see Boruto, the new main character, has a different sign from the one he first appeared.
I know that he is an Uzumaki and all but why introduce him with another sign to go back to his Clan? Kishi-sensei I'm confused. I already been hyping myself up about a new clan or a agreement between Naruto and Hyuga
Although Boruto looks good as a proud Uzumaki
