I have a theory, or a fanfic if you will...

Everybody knows that when Minato was reanimated, he had the Yin Kurama in him correct? Yes that's correct.

But it was stated that you can't be a Jinchuriki ("a living body with circulating blood. But with a dead body, he could not manipulate the power of the Juubi as a Jinchuuriki. ") if your body is fake (I.e. Edo Tensei)...

So how is it that Minato broke that rule? Here is my answer to that: A dead body cannot contain a living Biju, BUT a dead body can contain a DEAD biju... but wait, what does that mean Kisune-sama? What it means is... That while Minato was living, you all remember that he used RDS to "seal" a portion of the Kyubi away. But what actually happened was, the portion of Kyubi that was ripped out, was actually killed.

The part of Kyubi that was killed, was then sealed away into Minato's dying body and soul. Then that part of Kyubi stayed within his soul as the Reaper Death God ate Minato's soul, thus keeping Yin Kyubi inside of Minato even after death...

Then, when we see Orochimaru reviving the Kages, the Kurama that came with Minato was an Edo Tensei as well... That's right I believe that Yin Kurama could have possible been an Edo Tensei, but later broke free from the Edo seal just like how Madara and Hashirama did it.

Actually chakra and souls are the same thing so it could be that when he sealed himself with the Kyuubi, both their chakra might have fused like in a jinchuuriki. And Uzumaki sealing jutsu is superior to the rest so maybe be those rules didn't apply to them.

Even still the bijuu were in dead bodies. Also chakra doesn't really die, and the bijuu are nothing but chakra.

to my kowledge the tailed beats are like soul/Energy/chakra of their original body the Gedo Mazo....in edo tensei soul go to a fake body..and you do the math......

Tbh I thought of this when I read Madara's full DB entry but then thought about how Minato seemed to be immune to that rule, aside from the filler previous Gyuki Jinchuriki that had Gyuki in him when he was brought back

As I said before, I think it's because Uzumaki sealing is superior to normal jutsu. If each of Hagoromo's clans are able to to things that defy logic then the Uzumaki should also be included

Also it said before that when a jinchuuriki dies the bijuu's chakra seeps out slowly over time

i thought he just sealed the combination of half of kurama and his own soul into the Reaper
since he sealed both at the same time, the reaper combined them into one soul and ate them both

when Minato's soul got revived and went into his Edo body, the half of kurama also returned to him, but as just chakra

no they weren't jinchurki's but just controlling their bijuus via chakra rods or rinnegan

however you can still be right...if my memory is good there was a chapter in juubi's revival arc that stated that bijuus can run out of chakra...so i said maybe this has something to do with your bijuu edotensei theory
