You're just assuming because you've had actually 0 feats of tobirama countering Genjutsu on Itachi's lvl.

We don't need evidence for Tobirama though. He fought against the whole Clan, he was never shown getting caught in a genjutsu. If someone doesn't use their most effective jutsu on the opponent it's because they know it wouldn't work.

He's fought uchiha all his life. Has never been caught in a genjutsu. Tsukyomi wont hit him. He's a sensory type and has ftg along with mass shadowclone. As for susanoo. Drown it. Or ftg inside of it. The fact itachi wouldn't be able to react to ftg in the first place means he's dead before susanoo.

Someone like Tobirama should have no problem staying just outside Itachi's range as he tries to totsuka him. Aids rekts. Then again, Itachi might trap him. Tobirama is no fool either though. Presumably both have intel.

Also, I'm pretty sure that if genjutsu worked on Tobirama, he'd be dead. Think the Uchiwa would've done that if they could, rather than getting Izuna killed etc. You can't say Izuna was a complete featles fodder either considering his gene's etc. He had MS...

I dont think he would stomp him per say. In fact it would be a really awesome to see, Itachi the tactician and Tobirama well.. the analyst.
