I was raised on rock (I'm 18), so this band, inevitably, became a band whose songs I knew. If any of you guys are fans, what's your favorite album or song(s)? I'd say my favorite album is either "The Wall" or "Wish You Were Here." I'm not sure what my favorite song is. Maybe "Hey You" or "Comfortably Numb?"

If you haven't listened to much Pink Floyd, they're definitely worth it. If I'm ever feeling down or pissed off, they're definitely a go-to band for me.

I'm also a fan. Every time I enter my friend's car, its this band playing. "The wall" is my favorite! :)
It's a band good for transport mode... xD That's about the only time I listen to them.

When I'm alone I usually listen to calm, relaxing chillstep. Hehe

I am the biggest pink Floyd can you will ever meet. They are my number one and have been for many many years. Even right now I'm jamming when the tygers broke free. I saw roger waters play live twice, and Ive seen David Gilmore and roger Rogers play together. I have autographed records from every member INCLUDING Syd berrit. I'm glad you have amazing taste in music

they are an awesome band, but what i totally despise about their fans is the "hurr 2day's eelektrawnic moosic stinks listen to d old stuf liek lead zapalen" bullshit. pink floyd fans definitely aint the worst though. that place is reserved for the *shudders* true beatles fans who, at the ripe old age of 13, discovered that old music is the best ever. apparently yellow submarine is a very deep take on the life of adventurers aboard a yellow submarine. queen was much better. zeppelin was much better. but no, the beatles are the best.

I was never a fan of music from the 1970s, except Black Sabbath. The only Pink Floyd song I really remember getting into was Welcome to the Machine. When I was very young The Wall animated movie came out. It was still being played a lot on some channels when I was growing up (that and Heavy Metal). I haven't seen it in probably 20 years, but I remember it being pretty cool.

I chewed them over. Live at Pompei <3
Fav songs would most probably be Comfortably Numb and Time.
That solo he did in live at Pompeii edition of comfortably numb was the reason I picked guitar up. You know that one song that just mand all your hairs stand up because it's so awesome? Well that solo did it for me

The Wall is actually one of my least favourite albums (I say it because, as expected, most people's 1st association is mostly that album). I have been listening to it since I was a child. I love a lot of songs, for example Echoes (Pompeii versions), Atom Heart Mother , Careful with that Axe Eugene, etc. If asked, I'd say the first place goes to Echoes Part 2, but only if I have one choice.

I love those guys and have lots of favorites:

Shine on You Crazy Diamond and Wish You Were Here - For those introspective moods

Money, Young Lust, Time, Run Like Hell, One of These Days - For everything else, but especially driving :)

I used to listen to Pink Floyd all the time. Shine on You Crazy Diamond (the live version from "Pulse") is my third favorite song of all time! Too bad hip hop captured my preference..

My bf says that I listen to them only and all the time so I think that explains the fan part. xD

My favorite album is Dark Side of the Moon and honestly, I think I could listen to it thousands times how much I love the band and their music.
