Well first question: who won the marineford war? I personally think the marines because WB is dead and so is ace, WB didnt won annything

Second: 1 thing i dont understand is how they say the 3 balanced powers in the world are "world goverment, shichibukai, and the 4 yonko's". That doesnt make anny sense because: worldgoverment + shichibukai VS 1 yonk = almost equal.

If shanks helped WB they would've won, 4 yonkos low diffs worldG and shichibukai. So how are those 3 things balanced?

Marines won

A power balance doesn't mean 1 side equals the other side. It just means that each side will not fight the other side because the each side is so strong that losses on both sides would be catastrophic. It works as a deterrent.

Sure if the yonkos joined together they could probably overtake the WG, but because they don't trust or like each other, balance is maintained.

This isn't about some maths equation with characters power levels. Oda has drawn the balance because each Yonko and the WG doesn't want to lose the lives of their men, just like in real life.

2# the Shichibukai really didn't do much in taking down Whitebeard.

Marines have far more numbers and influence than the Yonkou.

The Yonkou just like most Pirates don't get along so the likelihood that you would face more than one at a time is slim so it is fine to think of the marines as a stronger power that can challenge individual Yonkou. Also if you add the Shichibukai (Mihawk especially) that is much more threat value.

Marines won and at the end of the day they won extremely easily

Marines + Sichibukai vs WB pirates + allies wasn't "almost equal" the Marines annihilated them and Kizaru and Aokiji were basically in top shape and Akainu wasn't really that badly injure, not to mention Mihawk, Sengoku and Garp did practically nothing!

On the other hand once WB died Akainu alone was enough for the pirates to flee, WB was the ONLY pirate that could really fight an Admial

Even WB + Shanks wouldn't be enough to take on the Marines

The Yonko had 4 "real" top tiers: Shanks, Kaido, Big Mom and Whitebeard (now Blackbeard)

The Marines + Sichi had 6 (now 5 or 6) "real" top tiers: Sengoku (now Akainu), Garp (now no one), Akainu (now Fujitora), Aokiji (now Ryokugyu), Kizaru and Mihawk (+ now maybe even the 7th Sichi)

The marines won overwhelmingly. Some Shichi's and the Admirals didn't take a scratch. Whitebeard and Ace died.

Given that the strongest Yonkou at the time could barely damage the marines and the Shichibukai, i think that prooves that you're idea that the four Yonkou's would demolish the marines is wrong. Besides, the Yonkou fight among themselves, hell, Kaido and Shanks fought offscreen before Marineford, so them teaming up to take down the marines is unlikely.

i dont know why people think that wb pirates were equal to the marines wb pirates didnt get defeated they got annihilated and i honestly dont think shanks crew would have been able to beat the marines even after the war with the WB`s

let`s take a look at shanks crew:
1 top tire if you consider ben beckman one then it`s two
and the rest are below top tire lvl
let`s take a look at the marines side :
2 healthy top tirs kizaru and kuzan not counting garp and sengoku and one top tire at 30% health
DD and kuma good for them mihawk didnt want to fight
rest of the VA`s (i know people are loling but they are not fodders )
number advantage

so unless shanks can beat 2 admirals or he has at least 3 top tire fighters no red hairs wouldnt win that fight

so no 1 yonko =/= marines
