Begun NaruSaku The Last resubtitling work...

Hey guys, the project to rewrite the subtitles for The Last is underway. This project is for creating a pro-NaruSaku version of The Last. In other words, a version of the movie without "triggers" so a NaruSaku can watch it safely and also get to indulge in their prediction coming true. I'm transcribing the dialog from the movie right now (without the timing yet but if there's anyone who knows how to do that and would like to volunteer ... ).

I'm starting in chronological order as I transcribe, but if there's a scene somebody has ideas for and would love to convert to pro-NaruSaku I can skip straight to it. Or if you have access to the movie yourself you can also get started without waiting.

That scene in particular has a whole lot of potential. Just because it would be the most difficult. What would you do?

Yeah but even more challenging is by doing this kind of stuff with just replacing the subtitle. People can write backstory explanations all day long.

*What I know Pierrot and Kishimoto wouldn't appreciate are insults, vandalism, or threats. This is not in that category. If someone tried to submit a KishiMONEY joke in the rewrite it's not going in. It's possible to do a project like this with tact.

Not that most care, but anyway I am not going to applaud so many ppl desperately trying to run away from reality. If you loved Kishimoto's work before NH became canon then u should respect his decisions and move on. Well at least that is my opinion.

I'm not releasing movies over the Internet. You do realize that a subtitle file is just a text file right?

I don't know if you noticed but this is actually satirizing the people "desperately trying to run away from reality" because it absolutely is the sort of project they would come up with. I'm just beating them to it. It's even better if some people don't even notice it's satire, it would be irony.

may as well write a fictional story on naruto, because it would take more than subtitle changing, there is the manga as well

That's part of the challenge. And the absurdity is part of the point as well. Can they possibly be outdone? I guess it could be an experiment in trying. People photoshop out speech bubbles from the manga all the time and insert new words. This is simply the video equivalent.
