I don't think we can say that. Minato was SHOWN taking out 50+ chunin/jounin in a matter of 2 manga panels. He was that capable against the average ninja, and while Itachi is capable, his strength lies in taking on opponents deemed stronger than himself, yet still coming out on top, and not taking on many opponents at once. Even the clan massacre wasn't his individual doing, and there we're talking about 100-200 people (including non-combatants) max. Minato took on this many enemies frequently based on what was told of his exploits in battle.

Yes, I did notice you said 'more shit', and that's part of the point. Minato could solo an entire army of fodders at once. Itachi's skills were less AoE than targeted.

also it's not minato taking out "at least 50" fodders that's impressive. WHat's impressive is that the guy said it will only take minato a second to take them all out. Literally if you blinked, you'd miss it. So with that logic in mind, even if it were 100, it would only take minato double the time it took for him to take out 50. So even if it were 1000% it would probably take him 10 seconds at best, it's not the number you should be looking at. It's the speed hype that you should focus on.
