These are the processes that a ninja must undertake in order to convert raw chakra into a jutsu, elemental or not. Shape manipulation is when you force your chakra into unnatural shapes, sizes, or operations. This can be anything as simple as morphing raw chakra into a sphere, as with Naruto's Rasengan, or very complex, like Tobirama's Water Dragon jutsu that requires a normal shinobi to weave 40+ hand seals. Nature manipulation is when you use your chakras natural affinity to produce a token representation of that affinity. This could be forming water, spewing fire, releasing lightning bolts, or anything else like that. It is when these two things are combined that normal ninjutsu can be found. The combined effects are what give each jutsu it's distinguishing qualities.

You know Rasengan is one the most complex jutsus when it comes to shape manipulation. Anyhow neat, yeah, you are correct when it comes nature and shape manipulation.

Let's get going with the first technique that I am going to teach you. When performing a technique please mention both nature and shape manipulation. Also for now, tell me what are advantages and disadvantages of techniques that I teach you. And we will go from there. c:
The first technique is quite cool to be honest although it takes a bit time for its performence and doesn't really have a surprise effect to it. Anyhow basically what I need for you to do is raise one of yours hands into the air as you focus raiton chakra into them. Releasing the said chakra from the hand I need you to use nature manipulation as to generate lighting and shape manipulation to make it flow around it. After you've done such, you can send this lighting forth towards your target in shape of a bolt.

The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active and use it to ram against them. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

It is often used after Earth Release: Mud Fall to cover the enemy target in mud and then follow up with using Fire release: Firing Biscuit, creating flames in the oven to roast and harden the mud, immobilizing the enemy.

Because of its cutting abilities, it often seems to manifest a certain "solidity"; a tangible aspect.

The technique is best used if the user has a height advantage in relation to the target. The thunderbolt is strong enough to leave a giant crater and cannot be used while being in Short-range of the target, at the risk of being hit also.

Description: The Lightning Cutter is an enhanced and concentrated form of the Chidori with the same effects and drawbacks that is done performing the Ox → Rabbit → Monkey hand seals. According to Might Guy, it gained its name after Kakashi split a bolt of lightning with it. Because the Chidori is already powerful on its own, the Lightning Cutter requires better chakra control, which is exemplified in its appearance. The Chidori appears as simply a mass of white electrical chakra in the user's hand, while the Lightning Cutter is much more focused. Kakashi has shown different ways of forming and using the Lightning Cutter, unique to him. For example, he demonstrated the ability to imbue a projectile weapon, such as a kunai, with his Lightning Cutter, granting the technique long-range capabilities by throwing the kunai towards his target. In this instance, the kunai was capable of piercing through multiple large rocks with ease, without any loss of momentum or change in trajectory.

Description: After performing the following handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Tiger the user will release a massive amount of lighting chakra which he uses to create a blinding light that appears to emanate from all over the users body. The light can blind any enemy that sees it but its main ability is that, through skill and precise chakra control and timing, the user can use it as a cover to put the enemy into a genjutsu by using the light as a decoy, preventing the enemy from noticing the genjutsu was placed.
Note: Can follow with any Genjutsu the user knows up to A-Rank but needs to have mastered Genjutsu. The user will need to effectively spend two moves, performing both the Lightning Illusion and the Genjutsu; the first only serves as a cover to place the second unnoticed

Note: Only the spear extention can reach up to mid range.

Description: After performing the following handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Tiger the user will release a massive amount of lighting chakra which he uses to create a blinding light that appears to emanate from all over the users body. The light can blind any enemy that sees it but its main ability is that, through skill and precise chakra control and timing, the user can use it as a cover to put the enemy into a genjutsu by using the light as a decoy, preventing the enemy from noticing the genjutsu was placed.
Note: Can follow with any Genjutsu the user knows up to A-Rank but needs to have mastered Genjutsu. The user will need to effectively spend two moves, performing both the Lightning Illusion and the Genjutsu; the first only serves as a cover to place the second unnoticed

Description:The user starts off by dashing at his opponent with a Chidori in his hand. As they strikes his opponent, they uses shape manipulation to extend the Chidori into a lightning spear that impales and hurtles the opponent into the air. The user then increases the potency of the lightning, generating a powerful electric explosion at the end of the spear and sending the enemy back to the ground.
Note: Only the spear extention can reach up to mid range.
Let's get going with the first technique that I am going to teach you. When performing a technique please mention both nature and shape manipulation. Also for now, tell me what are advantages and disadvantages of techniques that I teach you. And we will go from there. c:

The first technique is quite cool to be honest although it takes a bit time for its performence and doesn't really have a surprise effect to it. Anyhow basically what I need for you to do is raise one of yours hands into the air as you focus raiton chakra into them. Releasing the said chakra from the hand I need you to use nature manipulation as to generate lighting and shape manipulation to make it flow around it. After you've done such, you can send this lighting forth towards your target in shape of a bolt.
(Raiton: Hiraishin) – Lightning Release: Lightning Rod

Description: The user raises their hands to the air, charging lightning. He will then unleash the lightning energy at the enemy target in the form of a lightning bolt.
Trunks stands mid range from his target, and raises one hand to the sky. While he does this, he concentrates his ration chakra into the raised hand. Using nature manipulation, Trunks focuses on converting the chakra in his dominant left hand into lightning, which crackles around his knuckles involuntarily. Taking control of the lightning, Trunks forces it to flow around and about his body using shape manipulation. Then he extends the raised hand to the target, with an open palm, and releases the bolt of lightning. It travels at extraordinary speed, as most lightning jutsu do, and strikes the target with a loud pop and crack.
This technique is cool, and simple, just the way I like them. It requires no hand seals, which is a plus, because it adds to the speed of its release. Also, being one bolt, all of the damage is contained in it, rather than being split between multiple bolts or tendrils. I also like how I could use this technique with one hand, so if I'm busy with the other, or can't use both hands due to injury, this jutsu is still an option. This technique does have a few problems though. For example, long range isn't an option at all, so if my opponent is there, I can't use this. Also, being one bolt means if I miss, there is no chance to damage my opponent. Lastly, I can't control my one bolt past the point of release. Meaning when I fire it, it's going where I aimed, regardless of whether I want it too or not, so I have to be careful with positioning.

After the stream/bolt/spear begins to move, Trunks simultaneously uses shape manipulation to shape the lightning into a spear shape. While doing this, Trunks forces the end of the spear to split once it encloses on the target. It would split into numerous tendrils that would hit the target from all sides at the same time before the main body of the spear crashes into the body of the target, causing it to pop and start smoking.
Once again, this technique requires no hand seals, so a quick release can be associated with this technique. This, plus being able to use it long range, makes this a formidable technique in itself. On top of all of that, the fact that I can split this from one to multiple streams tells me that I have come degree of control when it comes to this technique. This is extremely useful when it comes to how my opponent counters, because I could split the bolt to go around any obsticles or follow my opponent if necessary. I'm having a hard time coming up with definite disadvantages, but I can say the level of control that is required for this technique is greater than that of other techniques. This means that if my opponent has an ally, clone, or summon that is far enough away to not be affected by the splitting bolt, they would have a window of opportunity to strike, changing the flow of battle potentially.

Awesome job Xicer yet once again! Let's get going onto the next technique. Basically it is a clone technique just of lightning release. Firstly by focusing raiton chakra within your body you'll release it whilst applying process of nature and shape manipulation. Nature manipulation as to generate lightning and shape manipulation as to form a clone. This clone follows all the rules that go when it comes to clones and can use only techniques of lightning release up to B rank. Except that he can never leave short range from you and if he does that he will disperse. Except lightning ofc he can be useful in CQC.

Trunks closes his eyes and focuses on his raiton chakra. He amasses enough for the technique, and releases it through most of his release points. He uses nature manipulation to convert the chakra into lightning, and once this is complete, shape manipulation to create an exact clone of himself. Trunks stands to the side and allows you to inspect the clone, showing that it was an exact replica. Once this was done, Trunks walks back to your position, allowing the clone to disperse once he was out of range.
If I was able to use this technique under a veil of some sort, my opponent wouldn't know which one was me and which one was the clone. This could be useful in that we could do multiple attacks all at once, and if my opponent spends a little too much time focusing on one of us, the other could take him out. Also, it doesn't require hand seals, so that it also a plus. The drawbacks for this technique are that I can't leave the clone to do his own thing, or send him in kamikaze style, because he would just disperse before I am able to do anything. Also, he is only able to use lightning based jutsu, so if my opponent uses a lot of water or wind, I'm in trouble.

Brilliant. Although keep in mind that once you do create a clone you can use other elements and/or your abilities. Let's get going onto the next technique which is overall pretty basic. The jutsu is from the movie and thus the reason why I can't find vide of it. Basically by performing a single hand seal, Ram, user would manipulatie their chakra into their hand as they raise it towards the sky. Discharging the lightning whilst applying processes of both nature and shape manipulation on it. With further application of shape manipulation user would trigger a electrical discharge now to be called from the sky towards their target. One good thing that is pretty neat when it comes to this jutsu is that it is able to reach long range from the user which means no matter how far your target is from you, you would be capable of using it. However, it's one of the ''slower'' jutsus of the list as you firstly have to release lightning into the sky before sending it forth towards your target.

Forming the ram hand seal, Trunks concentrates his raiton chakra. He then raises his hand into the air and then uses nature manipulation to convert his raw chakra into lightning, then shape manipulation to force it into a bolt which he then releases toward the sky. Allowing the electronegative nature of the particles in the sky to help strengthen the technique, Trunks then uses shape and nature manipulation once more to control a lightning bolt. He forces the bolt to travel from the sky to the target causing a brilliant flash and loud pop as it lands.
Let me put it this way, when I stopped to think about advantages vs disadvantages, the disadvantages came to me almost immediately, while I am still trying to come up with another advantage, so I will list the disadvantages first lol. Like you said, this technique is very slow. I mean, you are essentially taking the time to do two different techniques, for one result. Also, because you have to launch lightning into the sky, this is the perfect opportunity to counter. Personally, I would try to form a water prison technique while their hand is raised, so that they electrocute themselves. Brilliant! Let's get going onto the next technique of lightning release. Also a jutsu from a movie and thus the reason because of which I am unable to find a video of it. Anyhow basically upon gathering raiton chakra within your body you will release it whilst applying both processes of nature and shape manipulation. Now, nature manipulation as to generate lightning and shape manipulation as to form a barrier around you. This barrier has both offensive and defensive usage. Defensive duo to ability of protecting you from incoming attacks duo to enveloping your body. However this defense mechanisam comes with one great disadvantage which I'd like you to mention. Now the offensive usage of this barrier is the one as being an enhancement to your taijutsu as well as ability to send forth electricity in direction of your target in form of a wave. In cause you use it like in later case I mentioned the barrier will wear off. As long as the barrier is active you will be drained by 5 chakra points per turn and it can be active to a maximum of three turns.

Funny thing, I just rewatched the movie that this was in and I noticed something. This technique, lightning tornado, and lightning saber are all used by the same person, and they didn't know chakra was a thing. They used the power of some special stone to use these instead. Which means none of those are ninjutsu, if you want to be technical lol. Anyway...

Taking a moment to analyze the barrier, Trunks does a few punches and kicks to ensure that he won't electrocute himself if he makes the wrong movement. After figuring out that he is good, he takes control of the barrier and focuses all of it's power into one front, which he then releases in the form of a lightning wave to end the technique.
Since you specifically mentioned disadvantages, I am going to list those first. First, this can only be used up to short range. Normally, with a barrier jutsu, this isn't a big deal, and it isn't for this technique if I am using it that way. But if I wanted to use the wave, I would have to be at short range as well. Next, while this is active, I can only use lightning techniques. Now this is a disadvantage on its own, but there is another disadvantage that makes it worse. The disadvantage that I am talking about, and I believe that this is the one that you were referring too earlier, is the risk of electrocution. If my opponent were to use a medium-wide scale water jutsu while I have this active, I am done. Not only would this electrocute me on its own, but I can only use lightning jutsu, so stopping the water before it hits me or dodging isn't an option.
There are also a few advantages as well. First, it requires no hand seals, and everyone loves a quick defense. Next, it is a defense that I can move with without being restained, which is a huge advantage over other defenses. Earth walls, fire walls, and wall summons are cool and all, but they stay in place, so it leaves me undefended if I need to move. Samurai armor, and certain earth armors can defend really well, but slow you down. This technique is the best of both worlds. Last, it can be used offensively or defensively, while lasting multiple turns. Hahah, well I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know however. That's quite interesting. I, myself, did not watch all the Naruto movies hence the reason because of not knowing. Never found the movies that good to be honest, but that's just my personal opinion on the matter. However as usual, great job! It's enjoyable to teach you.
This is also the last B ranked technique that I am to teach you and overall it is pretty neat although I am not the biggest fun of lightning element. Basically upon gathering raiton chakra within your body you would release it whilst applying both processes of nature and shape manipulation as to form a highly compressed orb of lightning chakra. Upon releasing the said orb forth in the midst of the battlefield apply shape manipulation on it yet once again as to make it release a continous rain of lightning bolts that would omnidireactionaly effect short range around the epicenter (orb you made).

As the lightning bolts crash into the earth, mini quakes and explosions can be seen from all around as they completely absorb the target.
This is a cool technique. Not only does it not require hand seals, but I don't really have to release it with much accuracy either. The orb strikes anything within mid range of it, so this means I can do it in a hurried fashion if need be. It would also be good for multiple targets. It does have a few disadvantages though. Alright :3! So from what I see I think I'll continue off from where Akasha left? Meaning we start at A-Ranks I think ;-;. Correct me if I'm wrong Xicer ;~;. Just a note on how I train. I don't ask for disadvantages or advantages. This is because I believe all techniques have a place to be used in and to be honest none of them are clearly cut and dry in this sense. So with that said I simply ask you perform them and then give me a detailed analysis of what you think. Don't be afraid to ask questions either. I highly encourage that.
The first A-Rank technique creates disks of lightning which you can launch towards your opponent. The number of disks isn't specified meaning that you can launch as many as you want within reason. The first A-Rank technique creates disks of lightning which you can launch towards your opponent. The number of disks isn't specified meaning that you can launch as many as you want within reason. SO. CHIDORI. SASUKE'S THING. THE ANNOYING THING ;_;. Anyways, jokes aside after a fairly cumbersome series of hand seals you'll concentrate huge amounts of lightning on either palm and strike an opponent with it. High speed simply denotes the movement and doesn't actually have any effect on tracking speeds at all. Anyways the noise is a dead give away to the technique being that it is its signature. The technique prides itself on immense cutting capabilities and penetration as we have seen in the manga and anime time and time again. So, try it out and tell me what you think!

The lightning in the user's palm sounds like birds chirping, hence the name, and allows the user to perform high grade cutting damage or high penetration piercing thrusts.

Sasuke stands short range from his target, and concentrates his raiton chakra into his left arm. Using nature manipulation, he converts this raw chakra into electricity, which is then shown as a static discharge after he uses shape manipulation. Sasuke pauses to take note of the shape and sounds of his new 'blade'. Highly destructive, yet loud.. I can work with this. After thinking this, Sasuke finds his target and plunges the attack into the target, noting its incredible cutting abilities. Yeah.. I can definitely work with this.
Lets see, the first thing I notice about this one is that if I am not using my Sasuke, I have to use 10 hand seals which gives me a slower release. The next things that I am noticing is that I can only use this short range, so it limits my options of the situations that I use it in. Who could forget the noise it makes either? Which takes sneak/surprise attacks out of consideration. But if it does catch someone, its cutting ability is unrivaled. This makes it quite formidable in taijutsu situations. Also, it is used to guide Karin, so that could be considered a plus as well.

Yeah, the 10 hand seals can be quite cumbersome. Bear in mind you can still reduce them through mastery/specialty. And yeah, the sound is a dead giveaway to its location. And while it may have powerful applications in close range it leaves you somewhat vulnerable to elements which can form around the opponent in short-range. Many people with CEs for example can create varying shapes and weapons within short-range of themselves at any point depending on the CE itself. So it sorta leaves you open. But good work.
Alright, next one up is a very powerful technique and it is used quite often. I want you to tell me everything you know about it before we get into dissecting it.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

I don't know much about this technique, other than it is used incorrectly quite often. With it being an omnidirectional technique (or a full body release, as I like to call it) it would be great for getting out of genjutsu. The surge of chakra throughout the body would disrupt the chakra enough to release you from the illusion, which may prove as an interesting counter as some genjutsu require you to come within short range afterward. I'm a little weary of the negating effects of the technique when it comes to earth. This is primarily because the technique is unfocused, so if you have a technique that sprouts from numerous locations (such as Stone Spikes), I don't see this technique being both wide spread and concentrated enough to take out all of them at once. I don't know much about its uses with weapons, but paralyzing your foe in the midst of a sword fight puts you in a great position.
