Why Hiruzen not learned Sage Mode?

Can Hiruzen learned sage mode? If yes, why he didnt learn it?

Minato's feats of warping very large objects & too many people at once clearly shows he had extremely large Chakra reserves & unlike Jiraiya he doesn't need elder toads to enter SM due to his supreme Chakra control which enables him to balance nature energy better than Jiraiya thus making him a perfect sage...but he can't maintain the mode for long due to his lack of practice.

But he shown one large feat when he is an Edo(Counter Guruguru's shinsuusenju 5 elemantal attack)

As an Edo their chakra reserve is same like when they are alive and not limitless I think.

If Edo chakra is limitless sure Tobirama can make many clones while maintaining 4 Yang formation barrier. But he unable to created more clones.

From reason above, Alive Prime Hiruzen can perform same feat as Edo Hiruzen that required large chakra to done it. And it give you some clue about Hiruzen chakra reserve there.

And I assump Hiruzen chakra reserve is massive.

Well I don't think that Hiruzen had low Chakra reserves I believe he was very good in his own right...old Hiruzen lacked the stamina to fight so young Hiruzen would be so much better but I don't think using 5 elements at the same time needs so much Chakra...those were most likely C rank jutsus.

Why does one think that someone being a genius means he can learn everything in existence? Hiruzen doesn't have much of a body to handle Sage Mode.

1. Hiruzen didnt know anything about frog Senjutsu (there is a panel, but unfortunately I cant find it )
2. Mokuton Senjutsu was considered Lost

the rest of Senjutsu types weren't discovered till part 2 (juugo, and Snake senjutsu)
