Location: Open arena

Restrictions: The 8th Gate and Edo Tensei ( Also, Tobirama cannot use FTG to escape to another place ) Guy=allowed to use from 1st - 7th Gate only.

Distance: 100m

Knowledge: Guy gets a lot of intel, however Tobirama does not know about Guy's strength and jutsus. In fact, let just say Tobirama knows about the 8th Gates, but never seen it before.

Battle intel: Kill for both of them.

Feel free to add your opinions and give me a reason. Remember please NO fanboying.

Tobirama solos

Why does it matter if Tobirama knows about the 8th Gates if it is restricted?

Tobirama wins. Gai would win if Tobirama just attempted to attack him head on in CQC, but considering he can use clones, and attack his blind spot with Hiraishin, sooner or later he'd tag him, and with his markings spread out efficiently, he can evade if Gai ever gets in the position to land a critical hit.

Gai is physically faster (by far) and has far better reactions. Gai clearly pressures Juudara with his speed and taijutsu skills, without letting him to touch him with the Gudodama staff or balls, and manages to corner him and launch his finishing attack, even if then is countered and defeated back. This while SM Minato, comparable to Tobirama, tries to surprise Juudara with Hiraishin to land Rasengan but Juudara react with ease and counterhits by cutting the attacking arm and then kicking Minato away like shit, with Minato not being able to react and use Hiraishin in both istances. Minato isn't even able to end the attack he was trying, before he is swapped away.

Gai's taijutsu skill and reflexes while in base and worn out (imagine fresh and with Hachimon Tonko at let's say 3rd or 6th Gate) allowed him to fend off Obito's CQC Kamui phasing without letting him to touch him and making him phase to not being hit, Tobirama isn't touching him to mark him with Hiraishin. Nunchaku also deflect the Hiraishin kunai, and Asa Kujaku and Hiru Tora totally screw on them, teleporting is useless with that AoE.

Can anyone explain to me why the same people who think Minato loses to 7th gate Gai think Tobirama beats him?

I'm going with Gai high difficulty. Unlike Minato, Tobirama doesn't have a space time barrier and I don't think Tobirama can shunshin out of Hirudora's AoE. That depends on whether Gai uses it before Tobirama and his clones can set up a distant marking though.

Well Minato was due to the fact that people did say he comes straight at Gai in a CQC and tags him...I did say a fight with Minato could go either way depending on the scenario and I should have said the same here.

Gai can defend attacks from his blind spot. Sure Tobirama using Hiriashingiri is faster than Obito attacking with his Gunbai but 7th gate Gai is much much faster than base Gai. You even stated that silent killing, essentially attacking from the blind spot is overrated and Zabuza is more silent than Tobirama yet people with far inferior reactions reacted so Tobirama being far faster doesn't compensate for the fact that Zabuza is more silent. Tobirama can't evade Hirudora with foot speed alone and Gai isn't going to let Tobirama send clones in different directions. Instead he'll opt to use Hirudora right there and then.

Reread what you just posted. It doesn't make sense.

Lol edited it if it was due to the grammatical errors and wordings...Yeah it was due to people saying he comes right at Gai in a CQC but in all honesty, It could go either way with the FTG user having the advantage due to clones and their ability to factor in teleportation with the clones.

If Gai can deal with the clones, he then wins.

Well Sennin of Logic did bring out some good points in that debate which utilized clone feints much like KG did in this thread. Though the Minato fanbase's assertion that Minato FTGed twice before 8th gate Gai could move was annoying as they couldn't acknowledge that Gai wasn't moving at his fastest. Still a great feat though.

Well if clones surround Gai, he can't use Hirudora and if he uses it at distant clones that are escaping, Gai could get taken out from behind while he uses Hirudora in front of him. On the other hand, Gai could easily move to a different location and get a good angle where he can one shot all of Tobirama's clones and Tobirama himself.

Gai should take this. Considering the restriction that Tobirama cannot escape using FTG, I can't see how he can hold against 7th Gates Gai speed. Especially considering his lack of intel.

Gai can defend attacks from his blind spot.

Yeah, he can, but when multiple clones are attacking him all at once? Clones who all use teleportation? Eventually he falls.

Sure Tobirama using Hiriashingiri is faster than Obito attacking with his Gunbai but 7th gate Gai is much much faster than base Gai.
Yeah, that's why Tobirama isn't going to be able to just blitz and kill him. It'll take clones, and it'll take multiple attempts.

You even stated that silent killing, essentially attacking from the blind spot is overrated and Zabuza is more silent than Tobirama yet people with far inferior reactions reacted so Tobirama being far faster doesn't compensate for the fact that Zabuza is more silent.

Silent Killing is attacking from the blindspot, but the difference is, Zabuza isn't anywhere near as fast as Tobirama nor can he teleport, nor can he use multiple clones that can also teleport along with him. People with far inferior reactions reacted because Zabuza=/=Tobirama. Put anyone faster than Tobirama in Zabuza's place and Kakashi would be 6 feet under right now. Put Tobirama in Kakashi's place and Zabuza would be 6 feet under.

And yes, Tobirama being far faster does compensate for the fact that Zabuza is more silent. Kakashi was reacting to Zabuza in the mist, would he do the same to Tobirama even w/o the mist in place? Them both being attacks from the blind spot doesn't change the fact that one is still much faster than the other. Being silent only makes it harder to react.

Tobirama can't evade Hirudora with foot speed alone and Gai isn't going to let Tobirama send clones in different directions. Instead he'll opt to use Hirudora right there and then.

Distance is 100m. If Tobirama decides to set up safe points before he engages Gai then there's literally nothing he can do to stop him, but since intel isn't in his favor, there's a chance that he might not do this.

And why would he need to send clones in multiple directions? He can just toss a Kunai. If Gai releases Hirudora like he tried to do to JJ Madara, the AoE isn't going to matter since he'll be able to teleport to any other point even if it's right behind Gai, to evade. If he releases it and tries to catch him in the AoE, that gives Tobirama time to escape by tossing a Kunai.

False people need to realize 100m isn't shit that's only 300 ft which is a football field. Gai nearly blitz JJ Madara from this distance.( ).

Not shit? Do you know what a football field looks like?

1. He didn't even come close to blitzing JJ Madara. Madara was backing stepping his speed yet you think that Gai is anywhere the speed he needs to blitz? Lol, stop.

2. That isn't 100m.

Lol.

Don't know Tobirama beats him. Gai is enougly fast to blitz him, with 100m of distance, he would be able to blitzes him. His suiton techs are not effective, Hirudora already overwhelmed a better suiton attack that Tobirama ever did.

Gai has intel on Tobirama's FTG if I understood, he wins med-diff

Judging by the look on Madara's face he was pretty close to a blitz. Actually yes that was 100m or just about judging how far Madara was in this scan.( ). Madara was stepped back true but he was also getting hit everytime he did so and a much weaker form of Madara already beat Tobirama in a speed battle.
