Team 2 wins mid-high difficulty. No one on team one can react to Ay's speed. Gaara using sand drizzle makes it obvious where Mu is as the sand will stick to his body. Gaara lifts Itachi and Ay up if WD comes into play. Gaara can transport team two far if frog song starts getting prepped to escape its range of effect. Amaterasu can oneshot Jiraiya or Mu. Itachi's usage of genjutsu can make things tricky as well. Sure partner method works but while one partner is busy breaking one out of genjutsu, there is only one person who can defend himself against the trio.

True. But reacting isn't necessary when Kisame can counter with Water Dome to slow him down, and he isn't reaching Muu who is in the air.

Gaara using sand drizzle makes it obvious where Mu is as the sand will stick to his body. Gaara lifts Itachi and Ay up if WD comes into play.

Gaara uses sand drizzle, Muu uses jinton, which results in Muu's location being revealed but Gaara being dead. Yomi Numa is a jutsu that takes little effort on Jiraiya's part and turns Gaara's efforts to turn the environment into a sandbox a miserable failure. Gaara would have to rely on his gourd sand which can be weakened by Jiraiya's toad oil, or Goemon blasts through ultimate defense.

Gaara can transport team two far if frog song starts getting prepped to escape its range of effect.

Transporting his teammates that far away would be BFR.

Amaterasu can oneshot Jiraiya or Mu.

Jiraiya senses the build up of Amaterasu behind Itachi's eye, and then out of Itachi's line of sight. Muu senses Amaterasu, and turns invisible so Itachi won't know where he is and therefore can't land Amaterasu.

Itachi's usage of genjutsu can make things tricky as well. Sure partner method works but while one partner is busy breaking one out of genjutsu, there is only one person who can defend himself against the trio.

SM Jiraiya can use partner method with Ma/Pa who break him out. Kisame has Samehada to break him out. All three are sensors so they can avoid eye contact for long enough to kill Itachi before he lands Tsukuyomi on one of them. All it takes is Muu going invisible and flying up to Itachi, then using weighted-rock tech on Susanoo to immobilize it...which makes Itachi a sitting duck for jinton or GSB.

Team one wins with high difficulty. Ay isn't blitzing a team full of sensors from 60 meters, and visual genjutsu needs to be executed at short range for it to take effect. Mu can fly up high to avoid getting picked out by suna sensing and reached by that loco ass Raikage. Senjutsu enhanced Yomi Numa and Kisame's water ruin Gaara's attempt to turn the battlefield into a desert. Kisame can spit out a giant lake and hide underwater to escape Ay, fu-sion-ha with the Samehada, whilst Jiraiya summons a barrier toad and hides there. If Ay gets anywhere near Kisame he'll get trapped in the Water Dome, then he'll get punked the same way Bee did. Swinging jinton snipes Gaara wherever he tries to fly and Itachi as well if Gaara levitates him. Jiraiya can come out of the barrier toad and help Mu defeat Gaara and Itachi if neccessary.

If he uses WD right off the bat, sure but that would also make things more difficult for Jiraiya.

Itachi uses finger genjutsu, forcing Muu to break it, thus forcing him to stop using jinton. Amaterasu or YMs take him out while jinton is being prepped or while Mu is breaking genjutsu. Good point on Yomi Numa. Ay nullifies it with raiton though but I guess Gaara will have trouble creating sand as long as Jiraiya is in the battlefield. Itachi uses katon to light up any oil that Jiraiya sends Gaara's way while Ay blitzes and ends Jiraiya.

Transporting his teammates that far away would be BFR.
No because Gaara can always return after frog song is over.

Jiraiya senses the build up of Amaterasu behind Itachi's eye, and then out of Itachi's line of sight. Muu senses Amaterasu, and turns invisible so Itachi won't know where he is and therefore can't land Amaterasu.
My point works only if Gaara's sand is on Mu's body or when Muu is invisible. Jiraiya may avoid amaterasu by shunshining behind a tree but then Ay blitzes.

Ma/Pa won't work for Tsukiyomi. Samehada isn't intelligent enough to recognize if Kisame is trapped in genjutsu. Gaara uses sensor sand to detect Mu to prevent him from closing in on Itachi. Mu has to turn visible to use weighted rock tech so Itachi simply releases it and then blitzes Mu who'll be right in his face. Ay has shown the speed feats to prevent GSB being used.

He can escape the dome with his toads, or Muu lightens him allowing him to fly out of range.

Itachi uses katon to light up any oil that Jiraiya sends Gaara's way while Ay blitzes and ends Jiraiya.

Finger genjutsu requires the target to be looking at Itachi's finger since genjutsu works through the senses. Jiraiya can use Yomi Numa underneath Itachi's feet to interrupt Itachi from using Yasaka Magatama on Muu and force him to look down on his feet and use Amaterasu on the swamp to dry it up, therefore Itachi can't disrupt jinton's start up time. Lighting up oil does nothing except quite literally add fuel to the flames, and katons require handseals as well so I doubt Itachi will conveniently be in a position to ignite it while Jiraiya fires it at Gaara's sand.

I guess.

My point works only if Gaara's sand is on Mu's body or when Muu is invisible. Jiraiya may avoid amaterasu by shunshining behind a tree but then Ay blitzes.

Ay is currently inside a dome of water, and Kisame can absorb him of chakra or Muu jintons him before Gaara can rescue Ay since Jiraiya can stall Gaara.

Ma/Pa won't work for Tsukiyomi. Samehada isn't intelligent enough to recognize if Kisame is trapped in genjutsu. Gaara uses sensor sand to detect Mu to prevent him from closing in on Itachi. Itachi isn't landing Tsukuyomi on Jiraiya. It might be a shadow clone, or one of Kisame's water clones disguised as Jiraiya, or Jiraiya breaks eye contact with smoke bombs or Shima's dust cloud. Samehada is a sensor and sensors can tell when somebody is in genjutsu by their disturbed chakra ( ). Why does Muu have to turn visible to use weighted rock tech, when he doesn't have to turn visible to use lightened rock tech? Ay can prevent GSB from being used unless he is underwater.

Screw this, team one wins with mid-high difficulty.

Yomi Numa and WD mean that staying on ground is going to be quite troublesome thus forcing Gaara to lift Ay and Itachi. Now that Ay is in the air, he can't do much. If Kisame stays in WD, he is safe from any jutsu in team 2's arsenal and he can transport the WD and strategically place it where he sees fit. Jiraiya can gain flight as well from Mu and a flying Mu/flying Jman will be able to attack Gaara from different directions. Amaterasu may end up taking out Jiraiya or Kisame clones and Gaara lifting up Itachi clad in susanoo will prove to be difficult as he'll require more sand to do so which means it will be harder to go on the offensive. Gaara isn't escaping frog song when Jman has flight to catch up to him.
