So we are at the Quarterfinal stage. Any mistakes and the teams would be eliminated. What is your take ? Mine is as follows :-

Q1 SAvsSL :- SA ( But the closest match in quarters )
Q2 Ind vs Ban :- Ind
Q3 Aus vs Pak :- Aus
Q4 NZ vs WI :- NZ (Unless Gaylestorm hits)

S1 Ind vs Aus :- Aus ( Hate to admit it)
S2 SA vs NZ :- NZ ( Another very close one)

Final Aus v NZ :- Aus

And South Africa is just a big prey and Lions are dangerous when they are hungry so just need one opportunity to corner it and go for the throat =D

South Africa vs Sri Lanka is the most competitive quarter-final matchup on paper . I favour the Proteas, but Sri Lanka have a solid chance of winning as well. 60-40 match IMO.

All the others are easier to pick. Australia,India and New Zealand should cruise through to the semis with minimum fuss.

That is true. However there is no way South Africa is losing to this piss poor attack of Sri-Lanka. They needed a 300 plus score to challenge them. I must say this was painful to see even for a neutrual.

Well to be fair South Africa can always choke while chasing this. But even if they choke they could still chase this. Lol The total is really laughable.

No that was Adil Ehsan. Rahat Ali was a replacement for Juniad Khan before this tournament. He has been a brilliant bowler thus far. Will hope to see him fire against Australia.

Nope. Not that I know of. I rather not have him back at the moment. We need a good fast bowler, not a spinner. Plus who is to say Ajmal will be as sucessful with his new action? Its just too big of a risk for me.
