Wind Release quite obviously is one of the 5 basic elemental nature transformations and is associated with thin and sharp chakra. Due to wind's nature of dissipating across long distances, it is mainly used for short to mid range offensive and supplementary techniques. Wind Chakra is unique as it can also be channelled into blades and other offensive weaponry in order to increase their power as well as range.
- Wind is strong against lightning because it is a natural electrical insulator but weak against fire because the flames are fuelled by air.
- Wind Release can be used in conjunction with Fire Release to augment the strength of the fire technique.
- It can be used with Water Release to increase the latter's concussive and overall destructive power
- Wind-natured chakra is a component of the following kekkei genkai: Ice Release, Scorch Release and Magnet Release

Projectile is essentially the manipulation of wind to create offensive attacks that can travel a long distance, the equivalent of Shurikens or thrown weapons. Streaming is the constant continuation of wind manipulation, comparable to turning a tap on and leaving it to run, to stream would be to say, release a gust of wind and rather than have it dissipate, keep feeding it your chakra so that it continues. Source Manipulation is the manipulation of moderate to great amount of winds that are already there. Say the use of wind currents to help one glide or fly. This can be done with both source and streaming.

Dusty wind will serve a number of purposes. First of all it can act as a form of cover to keep you and your allies hidden. It can also give you the element of surprise as dust can hinder the opponent's vision and also prevent them from performing jutsu's due to the human response of wiping your eyes once dust has been inside them. Collectively dust can also serve to create constructs and different shapes, its fluidity in movement is what makes it incredibly versatile. The user can also use a large amount of dust influenced by wind to layer the terrain and change it as well as make it more difficult to traverse.
Nature transformation is basically an advanced form of Chakra control where one moulds their chakra into a kind of Chakra nature (elemental jutsu). It is what allows for the various releases (Fire release, Water release etc). For relationships between chakra natures, there is a principle known as counterbalancing. This principle states that two techniques of the same nature would cancel each other out if the same amount of chakra was put into them.
Shape Manipulation or transformation involves changing the form and movement of chakra, determining the size, range, and purpose of a technique. It determines whether your earth technique will be 15 meters tall or 5 meters tall, whether it will be shaped as a sword or a simple boulder. Start simple, gather your chakra, nature manipulate it into wind, and shape it into a sphere. Release the sphere out of your mouth and aim it at this dummy.

JiggaBooJones performed the seal of confrontation with both of his hands, gathering the chakra from all of his Chakra coils and centering it within his stomach region, spinning in a clockwise direction due to that being his preferred hand. He began to manipulate the nature of the raw chakra into that of wind, thinking of sharp and slicing motions to help with the process. Afterwhich he molded it into a sphere, picturing round objects to guide himself. Gathering it in his mouth, he released it in this spherical form and aimed it towards the training dummy that resided 6 meters directly in front of him. Obliterating the wooden object upon impact.
Okay, that is essentially how basic projectiles are released. There might be some with more advance shapes like blades, dragons, etc. They are easy to follow however, trust me. Anyway, can you perform a streaming technique for me? Release an evenly, narrow, stream of sharp wind? At the dummy please

He brought it to his mouth and released, constanty feeding it chakra in order to upphold the technique as a stream o wind that headed towards the dummy. He kept his lips in a small O shape to ensure it was thin.

JiggaBoo manipulated his chakra in order to harness the pocket of air directly 3 meters in front of him. He pictured sharp objects, long and sharp as well as had the image of metal in his head in order to reinforce the sturdiness. Over time, he gradually formed it into a cylinder shaped long spear made of wind with a pointy tip, which he directed towards the dummy. It impaled the dummy and caused a slight explosion from the force of the impact, breaking the wood apart.Very good ^^ last one now

Afterwhich, JiggaBoo pictured the creatures he had seen painted on walls and shrines in some of the places he had travelled. A 3 headed demonic dog. He focused on this image whilst extorting the Chakra and stamina from out of his body, performing the seal of confrontation. He formed the wind currents in front of him to create the shape of this creature. He took control of it and sent it towards the dummy, creating a slashing motion.
