The reason why Kishi didnt let Sakura heal Gai nor Kakashi because he writes her to the point that he even hate his own character.
I think this has to do something with the woman in his real life... Maybe sakura was the name of somebody who turned him down...
He could easily let her discover-upgrade her byakugou to superior level than tsunade, or let her study katsuya body and upgrade katsuya or even understand how katsuya body pattern and apply to her own body.
Imagine Sakura split her self into 1000 mini sakura, that will be epic XD

Naruto got his second rate regeneration abilities through power ups given to him by plot. Sakura is a hardworker and her yin seal was aquired through training and patience.

How about this. Why does he need to be good in medicial ninjutsue when he is already better in many aspects of his being?

In other words even if the Op proves you or I wrong in terms of her being better in medicial ninjutsue. In the end of the day it won't matter because that is not even Naruto's field. So how can one judge his character on it when he never really worked on it?

He also needs very precise chakra control to do it properly if I am not mistaken which Sakura and Tsunade were both stated to be masters off with Naruto and Sasuke probably being the equivalent in battle
Although since he is the Protagnist he could still do it but that's a different story Lol
