Hidan is a loss because OP gives Kakashi no intel, so Kakashi, much like Asuma, isn't going to worry about a tiny scratch. That tiny scratch is game over.

I think Darui has the upper hand but it's debatable overall. More or less the same for Asuma.

I think you are underrating Kakashi here.

1) yamato Kakashi high difficulty.
2) Zabuza Kakashi mid-high difficulty.
3) Hidan Kakashi high difficulty.
4) Asuma Kakashi mid difficulty.
5) Darui Kakashi high difficulty.
6) Alive old Hiruzen (RDS restricted) Hiruzen mid-high difficulty.
7) Tsunade (Katsuyu restricted) Tsunade mid-high difficulty.
8) Mei Mei mid difficulty.
9) Base Jiraya (Summons restricted) Kakashi mid-high difficulty.

Nah, cause the issue here is most of Kakashi's reaction feats and the like revolve around his sharingan use. Again, Hidan is a disaster to fight with no intel. Asuma would have wrecked him if he had intel, but he didn't, and let himself get scratched. Same thing happens to Kakashi, who is more skilled than Hidan, but isn't going to worry about slight cuts.

I covered Zabuza already. Again, this is a situation where intel would help Kakashi out greatly, but having no intel on Zabuza's mist or his silent killing without the sharingan to react in the mist? Yikes.

Asuma pretty much = sharinganless Kakashi. Either one winning would be high difficulty.

Darui as I said I don't have much of an argument for or against. Probably should have labeled it toss up.

Stops at 8. Lol at EliteKakashi saying sharingan is behind his victory against Zabuza when hidden mist was the first hard counter for sharingan(yet kakashi still won).

Couple issues with that.

1. Kakashi had practically full knowledge on Zabuza. Knew about his mist, knew about his silent killing abilities, knew about his suiton abilities. This Kakashi has none of that.

2. Mist countered the sharingan, but only to a point. At close range, it still worked as noted by Kakashi deflecting Zabuza's shurikens and the like in the mist, managing to intercept Zabuza's attempt at killing Sakura/Tazuna, etc. And again, this Kakashi had knowledge of how good Zabuza was in the mist.

An out of shape Kakashi was overwhelmed during the first half of their first encounter. After that Kakashi always remained superior and came on top.
I think you're underrating his inherent skills as an s-level shinobi. He lost his sharingan, that's true, but he's still got many other things going for him. Plus, he canonically countered Zabuza's mist. That's one thing going for him already.

Hidan is a loss because OP gives Kakashi no intel, so Kakashi, much like Asuma, isn't going to worry about a tiny scratch. That tiny scratch is game over.

That's assuming he'll fight head on against Hidan. Its not like him to charge without thinking or a backup plan.
I can agree with you on this one though. No intel at all would most likely be fatal.

I think Darui has the upper hand but it's debatable overall. More or less the same for Asuma.

Hmm, I think Kakashi has the advantage against Darui and is noticeably well above Asuma.
What they have in elemental and CQC advantage respectively, Kakashi makes up for in versatility.

His knowledge is irrelevant seeing as he tracked opponents via the same methods since Gaiden days without knowledge on them. Smell, air waves and sound.

Kakashi by his own admission couldn't see jack shit. So the claim of his sharingan seeing the kunai, or attacks is baseless.

I think with his dogs, clones, hiding like a mole and his sesnes he can handle the mist.
Kakashi can also use a beast runner right of the bat.

Clone feints would give Kakashi the opportunity to gain intel on Hidans fighting style and immortality, not on the ritual, but it takes some time to preform the ceremony.
Beast runner or water dragon will push hidan to the ground where clones would fragment him with raiton kunais.

I think Darui has the upper hand but it's debatable overall. More or less the same for Asuma.
They are pretty equal, but Kakashi is able to do clones, which gives him the advantage in my opinion.

Asuma may fall for a raiton clone feint

why he doesn't win against old hiruzen, but against jiraya he does ?

An out of shape Kakashi was overwhelmed during the first half of their first encounter. After that Kakashi always remained superior and came on top.

Again, the issue for Kakashi here isn't so much that he can't keep up with Zabuza physically, because he can. The issue here is no intel fighting in mist, with no sharingan to help him react. Zabuza's already shown he can react to Kakashi's bunshin feints in the mist, as well. Just a really bad matchup here, IMO.

I think you're underrating his inherent skills as an s-level shinobi. He lost his sharingan, that's true, but he's still got many other things going for him. Plus, he canonically countered Zabuza's mist and has other troublesome jutsus.

Nah, quite the opposite. I think Kakashi given time to train without his sharingan could be incredibly powerful. Probably a Hiruzen clone with the bunshin feints, ninjutsu prowess and the like. But it takes time to adjust, and me writing things he might be capable of doing post sharingan would simply be fanfiction.

Again, he countered Zabuza's mist with the assistance of his sharingan, having full knowledge of what Zabuza can do in the mist. Can't keep looking over how important both of those aspects were.

That's assuming he'll fight head on against Hidan. Its not like him to charge without thinking or a backup plan.

That's true, but the issue here is Hidan isn't going to "show his cards" until he gets the scratch. He's going to keep going after Kakashi over and over and over until he gets the blood. Kakashi's only real hope here is getting him with a raiton bunshin, but the issue here is he might resort to thrusting through Hidan's heart with a raikiri or kunai, and as we know, Hidan wouldn't care, and it would be a wasted opportunity.

Hmm, I think Kakashi has a noticeably advantage over Darui and is noticeably well above Asuma.

Darui and sharingan-less Kakashi are nearly clones of each other.

Asuma is quite underrated, IMO. He's got strength that allowed him to hold off Kisame using samehada, something Gai even struggled with, his fire ash is a really underrated technique, and he's got one of the most powerful futon techniques shown in the manga. Sadly he got put in one of the worst matchups in the series, being a CQC fighter with no intel against Hidan. Really wish we got to see more out of him, but oh well.

This is the scan I was referring to with him still being able to use his sharingan, to a point, in the mist:

Kakashi has methods of tracking, but in order to pin Zabuza down, he had to allow Zabuza to draw blood and then he had to use his ninken to capture him. I'm not so sure Kakashi is going to live through giving Zabuza a free shot in this scenario.

That's not a sharingan feat because he himself says he can't see anything and his reactions are slowed.
His dogs needed his blood to track zabuza. Not him, he doesn't have to give free hits when a lightning clone puts zabuza in the same situation as the dogs did.

The dogs require Zabuza having Kakashi's scent on him, which requires drawing blood, and again, I'm not sure Kakashi can afford to let that happen here.

Sure, I guess, though you've got distance at 40 meters. Zabuza should for all intents and purposes be able to avoid it or counter in that distance.

Clone feints would give Kakashi the opportunity to gain intel on Hidans fighting style and immortality, not on the ritual, but it takes some time to preform the ceremony.

I covered the clone feint part in my post above. Again, you're acting off the basis here that Hidan isn't going to be fighting back. Hidan's got some pretty impressive reflexes/reactions himself.

If Kakashi traps Hidan, shoves raikiri through his heart and thinks he's won, Hidan's got him just about right where he wants him. No intel is just ridiculous in fighting Hidan.

They are pretty equal, but Kakashi is able to do clones, which gives him the advantage in my opinion.

Nothing to really argue about here.

why he doesn't win against old hiruzen, but against jiraya he does ?

Hiruzen's stamina was upgraded in part 2, Meaning he's able to create 5 shadow clones and use all elements at once. I know edo's chakra replenishes, but it's not unlimited. Meaning his chakra reserves are no more than what he had alive, it would just replenish after being used, so his base chakra reserves are enough to pull that off, and the ET just replenished the chakra he used.

Kakashi only has the ability to use 3 elements(well, according to DB he has the ability to use all 5, but he's not used the other two in the manga), so Hiruzen can counter each one, Enma gives him the upper hand in CQC, Enma protects him from things like lightning beast, etc.

Where as Jiraiya has only shown Katon and Doton in the manga, which Kakashi hard counters with suiton and raiton. Jiraiya would be difficult because of his versatility, but with Kakashi's ability to counter everything in his arsenal, it's a bad match-up for JMan.

I think you're taking that too literally. Zabuza even notes that if he got close enough, Kakashi could use his sharingan genjutsu on him again, meaning there is a line of sight in close range. It's very short, but it's there. The scan I posted shows Kakashi seeing the kunai with his sharingan and reacting thanks to it.

If Kakashi could track Zabuza by himself with his nose, he would have done it in their fight rather than letting Zabuza damn near cut his chest open just to get his scent on Zabuza.

Bunshin feints is a fine tactic, however, Zabuza showed in their first encounter he can keep up with Kakashi's bunshin feints in the mist, even "out bunshin-feinting" Kakashi himself.
