Even before Sasuke attacked the Summit, the K11 and other Leaf shinobi chunin and higher were made aware of Sasuke's actions by Danzo declaring Sasuke be executed on sight and the crimes of which he should be executed for.
It wasn't an open secret anymore among the Leaf. Maybe the villagers didn't know but the shinobi did. After the Kage summit, Sasuke made himself an enemy of every single nation. You can't just attack 5 Kage, kill one of them and then expect to remain anonymous.
This is another thing Kishi should've shown us in the manga. The trial/hearing of Sasuke. Kakashi's final conversation implies that himself and Naruto pleaded for clemency for Sasuke and that he be pardoned for his help in the war. I think they would leave out his short lived "revolution in their defense of him.
Yeah, like, he killed Danzou and stuff, I mean the guy was totally bogus, but still, it'd be like killing Bush, seems nice at first, but damn, I'm sure the eastern guys were all over him at least.
Well, anyway, I agree completely. I think if Konoha was to have a trial for Sasuke, where there'd be a lot of flashbacks and a lot of Narutoooooo, SASUKEEEEEH, and talk no jutsu, and people of the shinobi would open their hears and clap their hands together, and forgive sasukay for being such a naughty lil' spaz, and he'd be publically pardoned, then yeah, I'd be kinda alright.
But the way Kishi handled it seemed a bit rubbish, and unprofessional (at least from the point of view of a politcal leader lol)
