[Theory] Kisime can tank Kirin

Kirin didn't even break through Itachi's Susanoo.

But Hirudora from 8th gate Gai was able to crush Madara's much stronger Susanoo.

But Kisime took a direct hit from Hirudora, and was still intact.

We're not even talking about Prime Kisime, the one fused with Samehada


Surely Kirin can't hurt Kisime. His skin is harder than Susanoo.

Why not? Onoki tanked meteors weighing as much as mountains.

He literally had the weight of mountains crushing down on him, he still survived.


Surely the 0 tailed beast, Kisime, can do better



also, lighting is overrated. Ever seen starwars? Yoda, luke skywalker, Anikan Skywalker all got hit with sith lighting. They all survied easily.

Heck, there are real life people that survive getting struck by lighting.

Lighting clearing isn't as strong as a hirudora missle

One thing wrong with that analysis, if Itachi got hit by it, he would be fried.


He has no tanking abilities. He got stabbed in a leg by a shuriken, like his flesh is soft.

He can definitely tank kirin with samehada, that's for sure. Without it, I'd say that he would probably lose the battle against kirin. Not sure if he would be dead (probably would), but at the very least he wouldn't be able to move and I wouldn't consider that tanking. Also Wasn't Gai's tiger attack just shown to hit the susanoo and explode in the distance, not actually showing the susanoo destroyed (while it is implied though). That being said Gai's Tiger thing should also have been dampened at least somewhat by clashing against and winning against Kisame's chakra shark kamehameha.

Just bones. It didn't even break the susanoo too. Any damage Itachi received was from using susanoo or susanoo getting pushed down into the ground by the lightning.

Itachi wasn't hit directly by Kirin. The force of Susano'o getting destroyed by Kirin knocked Itachi down. His robe was destroyed in the process as well.
