Most talented band of all time?

I say Led Zeppelin, unquestionably. U_U

Drums - Bonzo was a machine. Definitely one of the best drummers ever.

Guitar - Jimmy is one of, if not the best guitarist ever.

Bass - JPJ did more than just bass, but his presence is definitely felt in many LZ songs. Listen to LZ III (I believe) if you don't believe me. lol

Vocals - Plant's voice and style is amazing. He's an incredibly frontman. The only other person that I can think of that is as talented or more "there" is Freddie Mercury.

What're your guys' opinions?

How are you going to define talented? Are you going to go by technicality? Because Dream Theater would probably be one of those most talented bands. Are you going to go by songwriting? Because The Beatles would be the best. Are you going to go by originality? Because Robert Johnson practically created rock. Are you going to go by musical ingenuity/non-conformity? Because Thelonious Monk or Dave Brubeck Band would be the best.

OT: There was no criteria for this discussion. People just rattled off their favorite bands. Based on the the logic of this thread I'm going to side with One Direction. They got the most votes.
