Interesting. I think that's amazing, that because of being attacked, he was able to see the world in a different light and become a genius. Not to say that more people should be beaten over the head, but I think it's incredible that such a thing could occur.

Usually, when someone receives a brain injury, it actually leaves a negative impact on them. I'm intrigued that this is the opposite though.

well 99.999999% of the time beating your head would'nt work XD
That man is a manifestation of good luck Lol

Interesting. Reminds me of the documentary that I've watched, that describes the story of a man who transformed into a musical genious after he was struck by lightning. He developed a passion for music right after that incident, which he didn't have prior to it. However, he was too obsessed with music, to the point where his wife left him and he now lives alone. He always talked about music to his wife, and spends the majority of his time playing the piano, instead of some quality time with the family. His whole life from that moment was revolved around music; it was an unhealthy obsession.

The documentary aired on TV years ago and I can't remember the title of it. Though, the person I was referring to in my previous post goes by the name of Tony Cicoria (literally found his name just then when I typed "music struck by lightning" in Google Lol). I've just read a short biography of him and it's definitely the person who I was talking about earlier, since I can recall the "telephone booth" part in the documentary.

There are numerous cases of sudden savant syndrome out there. You just have to research it.
