What manga/anime series that could have done better?

Hunter X Hunter manga... I just wish it was done by a solid artist like Oda

I feel like you're biased here...Also, Togashi redraws the chapters for the volumes. If you don't purchase the manga, you probably wouldn't know that. Sure, he's no Kentaro Miura, but he's not as bad as people say he is. Still, his story > One Piece. *hears jimmies being rustled*

OT: I only speak for anime because that's all I watch.

Nanatsu no Taizai - needs a good adaptation
Attack on Titan - pacing and characters need work
Bleach
Claymore - needs a good adaptation
Code:Breaker - needs a good adaptation
Darker than Black - season two sucked
Deadman Wonderland - needs a canon ending
Death Note - season two sucked
Durarara!! - second half of the series wasn't interesting
Elfen Lied - get a good dub. My Lord, that dub sucked.
Gantz
HxH - have Togashi write more
Naruto - lol it's obvious why it sucks
One Piece - anime sucks
Rurouni Kenshin - less filler
Soul Eater - needs a canon ending
Sword Art Online - pacing and other problems

Death note.....there was a stretch of episodes that were not needed, if I recall.

I didn't like how they killed off L, it was pointless and they replaced him with reject versions.

He was to much of a badass to be killed off. He was killed of way to early and the replacements were not satisfying.

Definitely Naruto. The One Piece anime and beginning of the manga could use much better art, and the anime's pacing is man.
I feel like Samurai Champloo could have had a better ending. IDK, it wasn't satisfying to me, felt off.

I agree. Champloo just ended. There was no resolution, just a, "Ok, bye." Wasn't satisfying to me, either.

Well I don't know about manga since the ones I read are fine, I'll prob. agree with Togashi revamping his art but it's unnecessary. Anyways, the anime that could have been done better is definitely Toriko. The series literally got butchered by Toei animation, by heavy censorship and not following the manga correctly. Have a sample of Toei's censorship...

Second would be OP's anime. All I would really ask is to work on their art/animation and have the same pacing from the earlier parts of OP (when it had like a 2 chapter per episode pacing). Toei really has a bad record.

Its short. The plot is somewhat complex but could have lasted longer with more dynamic scenes. Its about 8 episodes.

Well, at least it wasn't as censored as Toriko's anime adaptation. People do enjoy TG's anime though, right? Like even hardcore manga fans? I watched a few episodes when the series came out.

It's still really good. Especially the second series.
