Danzo and Tsunade , who really deserves the Hokage title ?

She was extremely lucky Naruto TnJed Nagato into reviving everyone he killed which outnumbers the ones who she saved

Danzo deserves the hokage title , I wonder why that stupid fat ass daimyu or whatever his name, gives tsunade the 5th Hokage title ? Even though she left the village from a long time with 0 ****s given about konoha , Danzo was a hokage candidate since The 3rd hokage's era

One of the most interesting and complex characters in Naruto. And one of the main reasons why things are what they are . Without him this manga would be even more shit. He is a villain in many eyes but a hero till his last breath in his own,and that just pisses off this fandom.

why danzo did not fight pain

Danzou was smart .. He didn't fight Pain because he knew it would be useless. We are talking about the Akatsuk Leader who took down Jiraiya, a Hokage candidate. Pain would've just claimed more bodies with Root there. The ANBU were fighting but even they got fodderized. Sure, Naruto won and everyone is back to life so it's fine and dandy, but realistically, the odds were against them, and if he had gotten captured, which was very likely, and if not for Hinata inevitable, the whole world would've been ****ed. To hell with a single toad. Besides, Tsunade had horrible leadership. She thought teams of 3 Chuunin and 1 Jounin were enough 'capture' an Akatsuki pair after she knew they had defeated Chiriku and 3 Kazekage. Thanks to that, the Hokage's son died, and his whole team almost got obliterated, not to mention provoking Pain to destroy Konoha when he was about to leave.

I wonder why people still try to blame one person for it.. There are so many reasons, ranging from the actions of Madara, Obito, Tobirama, Itachi, Danzo, and Hiruzen till the Uchiha themselves (they wanted to pull that coup after all) and Konoha (distrusting the Uchiha). They all played there role. And the destruction of the Uchiha was the path with the least amount of casualties; the coup would have triggered a war which on itself would have more victims, and would have been a great excuse for other nations to invade thus create global instability and war. Itachi did a great job ending such a scenario. The extermination wasn't right, but they were at a point at which there was no right option, only a least wrong option under those circumstances.. That said, blaming one person would be wrong when multiple are responsible.

I think Danzo was underground along with his forces and weren't helping during the invasion as he wanted to take over the village after Pain finished or was that an anime filler.cant recall

Tsunade would have been defeated by Pain easily if she had faced him. Then there was no one to keep the villagers safe, and protect their bodies when the super shinra tensei hit. Tsunade protecting the villagers with katsuya was critical for Nagato to return their souls.

The thing is, Danzo lacked trust/faith in people (as evident from his manipulation of Mifune; even though Mifune said that he would have likely picked Danzo anyway, Danzo claimed it wasn't "good enough"), and he wanted to control everything himself, behind others' backs. Nope. The thing about Danzo is this. He attributes everything that he does "for the leaf." But there is his true darkness. He's serving the system, and not the people it's built for. Does anyone remember what he did in the Kabuto flashback? He's a manipulating piece of crap! He forces people to risk their lives for the leaf, and then end them once they're no longer useful to him. Ultimately, the one he cares about, is himself, and how he thinks the world should work. He doesn't care for lives, and that's what absolutely evil. He could "preserve the leaf" but it wouldn't be a place worth living. He's a selfish individual that represents everything wrong with political leaders.

Danzo might have been bad but the other Kage were no better.

Ohnoki openly employed the Akatsuki for work.

Ay had a history of trying to steal jutsu and KKG from other villages.

Mei was Kage of the now reformed "Bloody" Mist village. And it was assumed (correctly) that the Akatsuki (Obito) had been working out of the Mist Village for years.

Gaara's village had staged a coup against an ally nation for monetary gain, not 3 years prior to the Kage summit. Which left the Kazekage and the Hokage dead.


Danzo's not perfect but he was in good company at the summit. Tsunade and Kakashi are less shady than Danzo, but that doesn't automatically mean the other Kage were trustworthy. Recall Kurotsuchi recommending to Ohnoki that they just kill Naruto and Bee and prevent a war? Also Ay trying to kill Naruto to prevent him from falling in to enemy hands.

They are indeed a rotten bunch. Each putting their own village's self interest above the collective good for the world.
