There's this ghost who sings to me,
Of all the mistakes I’ve done.
She reminds me of my agonies;
Numerically, one by one.
She serenades me to my knees,
My shocking saga retold;
Haunting choirs join in harmony,
As the pain increased ten-fold.
The maestro and his orchestra,
Compose a symphony.
Horrible ballad rife with tears;
Called forth by grim memories.
Armed with macabre instruments,
Melodies for lies,
The strings of pain resonate;
False emotions in disguise.
The music builds to heated pitch,
My insecurities are winning;
And when it seems it reached the end,
It starts over from the beginning.
Amphitheater is filled with grief,
And there's no room for me;
I look to find an empty seat,
My throne of insanity.
