[Discussion] Any new updates about Hunter x Hunter??

Hey guys it's been over half a year now since both the Hunter x Hunter anime and manga went on an indefinite hiatus. the anime did not have enough material to continue so Madhouse had no choice but to hold off the anime and i really miss it and with Togashi having his back problems he can't draw the manga ):...we Hunter x Hunter fans have it really rough..we wait forever for our content</3 i never loved a series so much since Yu Yu Hakusho which was also created by Togashi....anyone have any updates??? i a desperate here

Nobody knows, I'm a big fan of HxH but Togashi doesnt take his work too serious... Like I mean you can have some back problems but dont quit for every problem you get. Look at Oda that dude always has problems and he still continues to draw his manga.

I agree...at the rate it won't end anytime soon..i wonder if Togashi knows that he is getting old and the older he gets the less likely he will want to draw...-sigh- no one knows huh? man..hope he comes back soon..

Apparently I heard from someone that Togashi was up and running.

But yeah we fans have it rough. I actually think it would be better if togashi shared the manga only with Madhouse and they just animated it and we only got the anime xD

Togashi should have a drawing assistant. That way he could just make the script without having to worry about drawing and feel pain. I want to see Hisoka vs Chrollo!!!

I don't think you fully understand the work life of a mangaka and no, Togashi is serious of his work. If he wasn't he wouldn't even had start a "part 2" of HxH or put so much thought into it. Sure, he takes "short cuts" here and there with his drawings but overall he is serious like any other mangaka are with their series.

OT: Best thing you can do is wait. We don't have any update on the hiatus itself.

Nah, he isnt taking his work serious, maybe in YYH but HxH he takes too many hiatsus for every small thing.

Well he ended YYH out of his own selfishness, he even admitted to that... and the hiatuses for HxH are necessary and even with the recent one, he has back pain. I think he should just make HxH a monthly series.

The thing is, he goes on hiatsus every time he gets something. I'm not being negative I love HxH it's my top 3 anime/manga series but If you look at other mangakas you clearly can see that Togashi doesnt take this serious.
