There will never be a completely reasonable discussion because everyone will be bias including myself towards their favorite character even if it's a little bias like stating "but (Naruto or Sasuke) can't beat (Naruto or Sasuke) in such and such level".
This is why the most reasonable thing to say is that sasuke = Naruto and Naruto = Sasuke and that they negate each other's strengths and weaknesses, a yinyang balance. The way Kishi meant to leave the manga at the end.

Naruto had fought Deidara and Orochimaru before that and against both he relied on Kurama in the first moments he met them so obviously he would rely on it even if he was healthy.Naruto was weak in normal mode compared to Sasuke that time

I agree.. But some manga scans aren't that cut and dry. There are some scans that can be interpreted more than one way, obviously only one interpretation can be correct.

Personally, I have no inherent problems with Sasuke fans. It's just when one side starts throwing out dumb shit and insults get tossed around, that's when the gloves come off and we go to bat for our fav.

Wrong, Sasuke suppressed Kurama's chakra when they first met at Orochimaru's lair. He can easily enter the subconscious.

Naruto doesn't need their permission anymore, he only did so because he was still unaware of how to access the KKG. Their chakra is probably stored in the same place Kurama's was when Naruto was still new to KCM. (KCM Naruto never needed Kurama's permission to use his chakra)
