the third tome he got as you saw with his fight with naruto gave him a huge difference and since he has 2 eyes to kakashi's 1 and because he is acually an uchiha he doesn't suffer the effects like kakashi. CM1 was a breathtaking change and sasuke specifically states that he can see as well as he could in cm1 once he gained his third tome.

Not to mention with CM2 now and the possiblity of flight Sasuke is clearly gained a huge advantage. you've got to consider he has learned 2 elements, was first in his class the whole way, carried team 7 in the fights with orochimaru, and the sound genin, as a great leader who learned to play to his teammates strengths. Even in his fight with Gaara he used a lot of chakra already. then had to fend off temari, and after a bit of fighting Gaara starts using the shukaku's powers. CM1 could have probably given him the edge he needs to win, and cm2 is significantly stronger.

The third Tomo is insignificant in your reply if you didn't know the Byakugan is > 3 tomo sharingan whilst the MS > the byakugan none of K11 were Jounin level by the end of part one. Sasuke was elite and surely Chunnin level along with some of the other students but none of them were Jounin level.
