Hm, tough to say. It's a toss-up between Konan, Tsunade and Kushina. But Kushina is my favorite female of the series if that says anything.

Tsunade would definitely take it if she had died saving the Kages. I felt like that would have been a real Hokage thing to do and fitting but eh, Kishi didn't go through with it.
