Naruto and Sasuke fans, is it possible...?

Is it possible for you guys to discuss your arguments ("arguments") in a peaceful manner?

I'm almost positive that both sides would find pros and cons in each of the characters. I'm appalled that there are so many fans and yet they don't fully understand strengths and weaknesses of their false god. Kishimoto was very clever and he balanced their characters out, both in character and power.

If you disagree, why don't you give a detailed response as to why you think your opponent in a debate is wrong? I guess it's easier to just throw an insult and call it a day.

The reason that Naruto/Sasuke discussions rarely work out goes far beyond "opposing sides" (which is already generalizing two entire fanbases).

So long as there is hostility in the way that people present their arguments (in ANY kind of argument that involves power, a versus scenario, etc) then there won't ever be "peaceful" discussion.

Adding unnecessary GGs, /threads and things like that when someone posts an argument or a rebuttal will only aggravate and/or offend the other side, which prompts them to respond in the same manner, and so on and so forth.

The way to get around this is to always treat another member with respect, no matter if they share the same opinion as you or not. Don't resort to bashing/insulting them. And even if they bash you first, do not retaliate. Respond in a calm, calculated manner, as if the fact they insulted you never happened.

If you bash someone as a response to them bashing you, even if they "started it", the cycle is just gonna keep repeating itself. Instead, respect them as you would anyone else. If everyone posted like this, that would probably get rid of the problem~

On topic: I'm a Sasuke fan and I never said Sasuke is superior to Naruto, in fact I've always said Naruto was the strongest at VOTE2.. With that being said, he didn't win the physical part of the battle it was a draw..

On the other hand, full mastery Rinnengan isn't losing to Naruto.. I think the problem is that Naruto fans highly underrated the Rinnengan when it's possibly the most hax jutsu out there... Mainly because it comes with so many jutsu and a few are very haxed.. Sasuke can counter everything in Naruto's arsenal.. So he will not lose..

I can tell you why this'll never happen.

1. This is Narutobase.

2. The fanboys are blinded by their fav's. They just can't 'see' other feats if they're not including their fav.

3. Fanboys are most likely not able to find enough proof of what they're saying, so it's easier to tell the opposite that their fav solo's and that he shall stay salty.

I used to hate Naruto as well, but at some part in the last arc, I came to realize that he isn't all that bad.
I like him now, I'd even put him in my Top 5. Even though, Sasuke'll always be my favorite, I earned some respect for Naruto.
But you know, not everyone can do what I just did, they're just blinded, just as I was. The difficult thing is, that you have to realize it yourself, that you've been fading out most of the characters, due to the excessive liking of one.

Fair enough. You also need to understand that Naruto was very low on chakra since he fought a lot longer than Sasuke did. Sasuke himself knew that when he addressed how much chakra he has. The biggest argument Naruto fans have (which Sasuke fans can't deny even though they want to) is the fact that Naruto was on defensive. He didn't want to execute any attack that would be lethal because he didn't want to kill him, which he literally said, much like Hashirama did to Madara. The speculation on how it would end up if Naruto was being serious is huge.

That's a common misconception. Many people assume they were recharged because they were given new powers. We don't know that, it's speculation. I don't think that's the case since Sasuke addressed his low capacity as well as Naruto needing Kurama to gather the natural energy.

I do not want to start a debate about this, but being on the defensive has nothing more to do with it. It's even better than letting your emotions get the best of you. And also, just because I do not want to kill someone, doesn't mean that I won't try to stop him with all I've got.
Remember what Naruto said in the first VOTE fight? That he'll try everything to get Sasuke back.
So close to fulfilling his dream, do you really think Naruto would fight without using all he's got? Do you really think, Naruto, the guy with the strongest willpower would just give up at such point? If so, that'd be a total contradiction of his character, and I couldn't take his character serious at all anymore.

And Sasuke wasn't low on chakra?? Sasuke probably drain a third of his chakra putting the bijuu in CT and casting them all in Genjutsu.. Also Naruto probably has 3 or 4 times the amount that Sasuke have so I don't see the huge problem here..
Naruto being on the defense could be one of the main reason why this fight went the way it did.. Say Naruto was to attack while he's low on chakra and Sasuke absorb those attacks, the match could've gotten very ugly for Naruto... I also see you side.. Naruto could've possibly overwhelm Sasuke with clones because Sasuke was to low on chakra to defend... So it works both ways. So it really only creates more secnarios..
