this.Even Aizen was impressed with Orihime ability
no one was impressed with Sakura
orehime was plot no jutsu incarnate. her power is super OP sakura sucked

The truth comes out.Young boys like the way Orihime looks, thus they feel the need to defend her more than Sakura.
No, it's not just you . Bleach, despite how simple it's plot is comparatively, is better in that regard to Naruto.Bleach also manages to make human interactions more realistic than Naruto but maybe that's just me
That still doesn't justify every female being a fangirl of some boy.At the end of the day Orihime Is Hinata of Bleach not Sakura. Anyway both characters are in different verse and their purpose in the story is different too. Though I agree Sakura is not written that bad. Female characters in shonnen are to be right there to add some colour but they are not allowed to overshadow the male leads. That clashes with the idea of Shonnen. So yes Sakura was doomed the moment she was added in the team. She was only going to get some high moments in an arc but not the whole arcs. On top of it she was paired with Sasuke- who is NOT the lead despite many fans believing it.
You can expect a little more from females in Seinnen but not in Shonnen. Some maybe better written than Sakura but they are still rarely put in the scene of direct action.
All these are subjective opinions aren't they? Each of the big three had a different theme. Sometimes it's just what you are looking for. For example I prefer a story over endless adventure tales. So despite OP providing more in terms of raw "entertainment" than Naruto, OP doesn't click to me the same way as Naruto. It doesn't make OP bad than it. It just doesn't engage me the same way. For some others who were already into OP the case would be reverse since they are already too deep in one manga they never get in to another in the same way. I caught up with three OP chapters two days ago - in like half a minute. In comparison Naruto is more dense despite having less panels in terms of story. So if you rush through in it you miss a part of story. In OP you would may miss a detail because the panels themselves are very crowded but so far I didn't miss anything which affects understanding of the plot of characters even if I have to go back and recheck a few things at times. :shurg:No, it's not just you . Bleach, despite how simple it's plot is comparatively, is better in that regard to Naruto.
Still better than being an outright Harem mangas and naked fan service. Forget Shonnen I have seen enough cling-worthy shojos which are supposed to be directed at females that make me drop them altogether. That still doesn't justify every female being a fangirl of some boy.
i kind of agree. I still tolerate Lucy from Fairy Tail and Rukia from Bleach more than Sakura.Still better than being an outright Harem mangas and naked fan service. Forget Shonnen I have seen enough cling-worthy shojos which are supposed to be directed at females that make me drop them altogether.
Sakura is an improvement over too many. Otherwise you a twilight style Midnight secretory and what not.
Better to have fan service than to be foolishly in love with someone for stupid reasons and one of them being thirsty as hell.Still better than being an outright Harem mangas and naked fan service.
Yes, they are. And yeah, I suppose what were looking for does play a role in how we view the series, but I think most people will collectively agree that Naruto had some really bad story elements and development. It's good for a casual read, but if one were to get down to the details, it's really a fail series in terms of writing. Well, it's just how I see it, anyways. All these are subjective opinions aren't they?
It'll be my pleasure. If you want, "Lady" B, I can create another thread stating why Orihime is just as bad a character as Hinata is. Can you neg rep me for that thread as well?
Most people is subjective as well. How many people even bother to think over it and then actually post something about it?Yes, they are. I didn't get it- You are telling us Bleach is better and then you are saying you didn't know about Orihime being similar as Hinata? No, it's not just you . Bleach, despite how simple it's plot is comparatively, is better in that regard to Naruto.
